Dippypud, YES and YES! It will be lovely to meet you in person!
Ampersand, the pin is a signal for OSers to recognise each other, I don't know who started it but this meet has adopted it and it seems to work.
Matymoo, Kilt pin is perfectly acceptable, of course! The fish and chips restaurant has a few other choices, veg. too, nice big salads and delicious mushy peas, so if you want you can still get something there. The Blackheath cafe does lunches too so if you want you can probably get a nice soup or a sandwich, they also have lovely homemade cakes.
