Hi all
Just a quick bump to remind you of Saturday meetup!

Bump! The day is nearing!
Today I am going to the centre (for a knitting session) and will explain that there might be an invasion of OSers on Saturday afternoon, ad will ask them to save some of the gorgeous HM fruit cake that one of the volunteers bakes on a regular basis!

Hi Caterina ,I would love to go there to meet up ,but I have a field trip to Rochester with my Uni course this Saturday, and for the following two Saturdays .I'm not sure what time I can get away but if I can leave the Medway by 2.00ish I may just make it by the skin of my teeth. I actually lived in Blackheath as a child, and went to All Saints school which is attached to the church in the middle of the heath. I know the village quite well, but I daresay its changed quite a bit over the past 55 years. No more dancing on the green at Maypole time I bet. In the late 1940s-50s it really was a little village and hardly anyone went there. If I can get there I will, but if not have a great time everyone and maybe we can arrange another trip in the future
Cheers JackieO0 -
Hi Jackie,
Sorry you won't be there, meanwhile don't worry because if this works well I hope to make it into a more regular SE OS meet up.
Looking forward to seeing a few OSers tomorrow, can't wait!
If anyone wants any clarifications please pm me. Thanks
See you tomorrow!!!

Sorry you could not make it Annie!
Only LilacLillie turned up but we had a great natter, I truly recognised a kindred spirit in her! We exchanged experiences and had a little whinge about friends and relatives who do not understand MS and OS, lots of similarities in my situation and hers!
Unfortunately poor LilacLillie was suffering from a bad cold. Thank you Lilac Lillie, for turning up despite feeling unwell and I hope you get well soon!
I would love to repeat the experience with more people and hereby invite others to propose a day, a Saturday in December?
Love to all

Desipe being fuzzy headed and unwell I wouldn't have missed it for the world!
Caterina was excellent company, we chatted so much that we didn't notice it was chucking out time.
The venue was very nice and comfy, very OS.
I hope we can make it a regular event and also hope to keep in touch with the lovely Caterina.
So nice to meet someone who understands the ins and outs of MSE.
Thanks Caterina for a pleasant afternoon and your friendly company.

Hey people look what I found in the freebie forum:
http://www.kew.org/events/kew2009.html
How many London (and surrounding areas) OSers fancy a FREEBIE walk through Kew Gardens on 1st January 2009? I am up for it if anyone else is (and families of course!).

Hi all
So many of you could not make the meeting last Saturday, what a pity. LilacLillie and I had a great time but it would have been even greater with more people from this board.
Ok I am going to chance another one:
Saturday 13th December I shall be at the Age Exchange Reminiscence Centre in Blackheath, London SE3 from 1pm (they make fav HM soups and I shall have lunch there!).
Here is the link for the place and how to get there:

Hope to see loads more of you there this time!
Love to all
