Off to catch up with the OS'ers, running late and should be gone already!
Princess lou, its a type of cafe thing, so eat if you want or just have a cuppa & chat, both are fine.
It'll be great to see you if you do make it.

    Hi all

Only LilacLille and me showed up, sorry Annie123 you could not make it, or Reverbe and princess lou, hope you are ok and that we did not put you off in any way.

If you want we can reorganise in August.

LilacLille and I sat in the lovely little garden drinking tea and having a really good natter, it was absolutely lovely (thank you LilacLillie for all the bits and pieces!).

We left around 3 because we did not think anyone would turn up by then and had a good look around the shops, excellent sale and I got myself a pair of red Rohde sandals for £15 - bargain! LilacLillie stayed strong and did not buy anything, in true OS spirit! Way to go, girl!

Looking forward to next meeting hoping for a bigger turnout, please let me know if still interested and I shall put a date in my diary for August.

    Love to all

Finally I'm an OAP and can travel free (in London at least!).

Brill, let me know of your availability and I shall try to get one day that is good for a few of us!

How was Russia? I hope to come to Brizzle too, when are you going to organise another one there?

    Love

    Hi Caterina and LilacLillie,

I'm glad you both had a great day! As the meet is over now I've added it into the main 'meet' thread.

So THAT's why I suddenly had an update on this thread! :rotfl: Must be from when I was subscribed for the Brizzle meet.

You don't want to come to Brizzle at the moment, far too wet and windy! :rotfl:

Yes I wondered why I hadn't seen these recent posts!
We didn't really get much interest, so sadly the curry is no longer on.
I would have come but didn't know!

Russia was fab, thanks - not so great for moneysaving, though - expensive!

In August, I can't make the weekend of 8/9 or the last weekend.

Mummysaver and I did try to organise another Bristol meet, with a curry, but had little interest. Perhaps a Saturday lunchtime, like we did before, is better. I have a lot going on for me right now (lengthy house renovations and some unpleasant work issues to sort ) so it's possible that August may not be possible for me, but rest assured, I will pop up at one of the London meets soon!
