Oh what a shame, I'd almost convinced myself this is what it was like to have a social life!!!
    I'm not a failure if I don't make it, I'm a success because I :tried!

If you ever decide to have another go I'd join you. I've not got a spare moment just now though ... No life of my own, just running round after offspring.
Do not allow the risk of failure to stop you trying!

    Hi all

It seems a long time ago since the intrepid SE London OSers met up, after a couple of occasions in Blackheath three of us met in Walthamstow. On all occasions it was great fun to meet other like-minded and fun people.

I think it is high time to meet again, don't you think? If the weather keeps treating us well we could have a picnic in Greenwich Park!

I am thinking of a Saturday lunchtime/afternoon towards the end of July, anyone interested? Please let me know your availability and we can set a date.

    Love to all

    Caterina
Finally I'm an OAP and can travel free (in London at least!).

I'm not S London but if it is accessible I might be interested. So hard to get to places in South London without the ease of tube access.

    Hi Reverbe,

No need for tube, we have the trains proper! The original meet was in Blackheath, if anyone else is interested we can do that again.

It is very easy to reach, you can get a train from Charing Cross station really easy. Or if you really want the tube you can go to North Greenwich on the JUbilee Line and then take the 108 bus which takes you right in the middle of Blackheath.

Waiting for a few more expressions of interest now. Anyone?

Do it today, many congratulations! Are you the one who was not sure whether you could make it on our last Blackheath meet because it was on your expected date of delivery? Looking forward to meeting you and baby!

Annie123, good to hear from you again, what work are you doing? Glad you found a job, see I told you!

Anyway, I propose to meet at 1pm on 18th July at the Blackheath place, Age Exchange, in the lovely back garden if the weather is nice.

Here is the link for info and how to get there:

I hope to meet with as many OSers as possible!

    Love to all

Hi Caterina - got your text - I'm in Russia right now and I don't get back until the 15th, so I think that first weekend will be spent catching up with stuff and everything I've missed whilst here. So I think I'll have to pass for now and join you all at the next London meet, if that's OK.

Hope you all have a great time! x
