OS meet up?

A simultaneous meet-up is a great idea, Barneysmom!

I'm in Huyton, Liverpool if there's anybody else around the area . I could manage Liverpool or Manchester, but I don't have transport so have to rely on buses or trains.

Not sure if you have seen Caterina but there is an answer to your post - the last session is early November but a new series is planned for January.

I have not seen them in person, only lived here a few years, but I live in hope. Thought I might last night with the powercut, as its easier to see with no other light, but no such luck.

I love islands too, feel very priviledged to have ended up here, as am not an islander originally (more a south of scotlander lol). It is beautiful, remote, quiet, picturesque, but also freezing right now (snow forecast I think!).

Thanks Peb, I did not have a chance yet to go and see the reply - ah what a pity, but January would also be good for me.

Meanwhile, anyone in London and surrounds who wants to meet up before then - a cup of tea somewhere nice and cheap would do - please let me know and we can take it from there.
