Do you get to see the Northern Lights up there Orkneystar?

I'd love to go to Orkney too, but being realistic, I'm in Stoke on Trent so Midlands would be good for me?
Also I work full time so it would have to be a Saturday

I'd love to go to Orkney too, to see if the house my dad lived in as a boy is still there. No clue where it was, so could be challenging, but I've got the name of the house written down somewhere.

A Saturday would be better for me, but could poss do a wednesday.

Dont you need tickets to get into Martins show? Long way from me but could do it.

Ah, that! It belongs to DD's boyfriend but just today I told him I would not give it back to him because it works a treat for the purpose that I am using it in the pic. I had just applied henna to my hair and covered the hair with clingfilm, the clingfilm with a strip off an old towel and the towel with THAT hat!

I am going to redo my henna soon so if we arrange the meet in the next few weeks I am likely to be wearing it - believe it or not I went out with that hairdo hehehe I went to my knitting group and nobody batted an eyelid (cos everybody knows I'm nuts anyway LOL).

If I recall we need to book in advance but I think it is sufficient to email them, will find out later and let you know.

There is also an email to ask for tickets. Let's wait and see how many people are interested and then we can get together in advance and go there if it is feasible.
