Me too. I just cant believe it and am just trying to deal with this on an emotional level. Seems he doesn't have a leg to stand on but it's just the fact he would do it thats the worst thing, but at the end of the day he is the one missing out, he will never meet his granddaughter now.
Anyway my list of things to do has got long again!- Pack up more tiaras sold on ebay and get ready to post!
- Wash up - damn headache last night, but I should have done it then
- When Tesco delivery arrives hope it all fits :S
- Cancel OU course, its just not financially viable until I go back to work
- Sort out more items to list on ebay!

Great great great
We thought this would just go away but it hasnt, today we recieved a letter from my father.
"Dear Billy and Carla
I have helped you out with paying you monies to help you make your financial commitments, which you were to pay me back in installments. This totals £3260.50 for rent arrears, credit cards etc of which I enclose a copy of the email you sent me on 20/06/2008 for the debts I paid on your behalf. Prior to this I have desposited funds int your account on 19.06.2008 of £900 to cover your overdrafts.
Further to that I gave you £1000 as a loan to enable you to purchase a VW Golf Van to replace the transit van that you owned at the time. The agreement for this loan was that you would sell the transit van, pay me the proceeds of the sale and pay me the residue of the loan thereafter.
Originally you committed to paying me £200 per month on the loans for your debts and the van loan. We agreed to reduce this to £50 a month once I recieved news of your pregnancy. I recieved total payments from you of £685, all payments ceased in August 2008.
After not recieving any monies from you I chased you and the response was verbal abuse and that you were not willing to pay any more monies to me.
Despite trying to resolve this through your mother, no attempt has been made by you to resolve the outstanding loan. Therefore you have left me no alternative but to seek legal action to recover the monies you owe me.
If I do not hear from you with an agreement to pay off the loan, which now stands at £4475.50 by 29th January 2009, I will be submitting a claim in the county court against you.
Yours Truly
BXXXX IXXXXX"
He enclosed an email I sent him thanking him for giving us the money and that we really appreciated it and we were going to get our other financial affairs in order and arrange payment plans with our other creditors.
Screw him. I dont know how some men have the balls to call themselves fathers.
In other news:
I have got to phone the DMP as we STILL have HSBC and Vanquis on our backs and they wont stop calling. Agghh!

COMPLAINTS DEPARTMENT
To whom it may concern,
Account number: XXXX
I am writing to express my concern over the way I was treated by Impact Management who I have been told by staff there are part of Vanquis’ collection team. Myself and my partner have struggled with our debt repayments for months and now I am 7 months pregnant we are on a debt management programme.
We are – as you can imagine – living on the strict budget given to us by the debt management company and I do not appreciate the rude phone calls I have been receiving.
I called yourselves on 28th January and spoke to a gentleman – who for once was pleasant and friendly and understood my situation – and asked for all correspondence to be in writing and my telephone numbers to be taken off the system – which by law I am entitled to do – and he put me on hold to obviously confirm with his manager if he could do this, then came back and confirmed he had deleted all my numbers and requested all correspondence was sent in writing. Two minutes after getting off the phone to him my house phone rang and it was a very stroppy women demanding I make a payment, I advised her of my previous telephone call but the battery on my walk about home phone died. I straight away contacted you again to explain the battery had died and finish my conversation and spoke to a gentleman that wasn’t listening to me. I was trying to tell him that I was just talking to someone but he was like a robot telling me my account had gone over my balance amount and that I needed to make a payment now. At the same time the house phone was constantly ringing – the other women must have thought I had put the phone down – it rang about 4 times before the phone had enough charge to be answered – and my partner answered and said I had phoned the company back and was currently speaking to another advisor, to this she heavily sighed down the phone and put the phone down on him. I was still on the phone to the other gentleman who was being very rude refusing to take my contact details off the system and explaining your procedure with regards to reclaiming debts. He also said they would be sending a representative to my house, I advised him legally I wouldn’t have to speak to this representative and that if they wanted to send someone to my house it would be a waste of time because they need to go through court to get legal documents that entitle them to come into my home, to which he replied we would still send someone.
I ended the call advising your operator that I would be writing in and complaining. There are a lot of people struggling at the moment and if they had spoken the way they did to someone vulnerable it could cause serious damage – I’m sure your aware of the situation recently in the news where a man died after being taken to a cash point by a bailiff – and working with vulnerable people myself am shocked that you as a company are taking measures like this.
I understand I have broken the terms of my credit agreement with you and I must repay the debt but don’t you think you should try and help the people that are trying to clear their debts through debt management programmes and other avenues. I also understand the offer my debt management company sent you has been refused but I am asking you to not reconsider but to think about how you deal with the next steps here, surely it makes more sense for you to go back to the debt management company and discuss it with them as we have no control over where our debts are being paid at the moment and cant afford more payments than we are making already.
Also I’m sure you can understand that threatening phone calls will get no where with me now as I know my rights and what laws need to be followed.
So please can you deal with my request in having all correspondence in writing and if possible have all my contact numbers taken off the system at your end.
I would also like a response to this letter as soon as possible and would like a copy of your complaint procedure within 14 working days.
Many Thanks
It feels so good to quote the law tho them and hear there little monkeys skirming
God I sound mean now
