510 titan from tecc, still using that, its really good, not had any problems with it after about 3months of use.

I've got a 510, I love the vape but haven't found it as long-lasting as you (I'm a very heavy vaper). It has good feedback on all the forums.

As for the Evo, that has good feedback too but is not quite so widely used - but what I think is "whatever gets you started has to be good" :D

Eek, how could I forget - our eBay group has had to recreate itself elsewhere because eBay were forbidding us to include links to suppliers. The new forum is a more familiar format, more like MSE, do come and join us - whether you're a newbie or would like to support other vapers with hugs and giggles - we are renowned for our lack of conflict and smart-alecness ;)

ive used one in the toilet on a plane. Who says you cant and why not?
  • Red Devil, as mikeouk says, if you or anyone else are concerned about vaping with the e-cig on a plane, you can use them in the toilet without setting off the smoke alarm. :j

Also as Veronarona has mentioned, the eBay e-cig group has now moved to a Proboard :D- allaboute-ecigarettes

Come & join us, we are a very friendly forum & above all will help you find the best current deals going :D
  • Is that my dear friend M*****? :D This is S***** :p

Here's the ProBoard link http://allaboute-cigarettes.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=general - sadly we don't get the passing trade we used to get in the eBay group, but we still offer e-pal-ship and e-cig support, especially for those who'd find the big forums daunting and confusing.

jeez what bloody minefield this is,there seem to be more options than the real thing.
ive decided i want to pack up the fags champix patches etc etc, then i started reading about electric fags, and im so confused now.
my problem with packing up is the hand to mouth habit,i like my fags but after 30 odd years my breathing is getting very whistley.
ive read so much in the last 24hrs but i really dont know where to start with these gadgets.
can you guys give some unbiased opinions please.
    i need value,hit, reality,lastability, etc etc.
is there any polls anywhere in the uk?
many of the forums seem usa specific, whats the best uk forum?
i really dont want to waste money and then go back to the rollies, and believe that a poor product will send me back to them.
    advice please guys.

Raggy dear, the link in my last post leads to a small UK forum where you will get unbiased advice as far as "brands" are concerned, but we're biased towards e-cigs as we've all given up smoking tobacco with them - what else would you expect?

Unless you have £££ to spend at the outset, you'll be going for Chinese technology and will have to be prepared for the odd faulty component. The best thing you can do is DIVE IN HEAD FIRST, get yourself a starter kit and familiarise yourself with it, then you'll know where to go next. I'm sorry, there's no other way unless you have a friend close by who already has something you can try out.

For the sake of getting you started so that you've got plenty of kit, I would advise you to buy TWO of the following kits, plus a bottle of juice if you possibly can afford it:

    http://www.e-cigs.co.uk/store/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=10_88&products_id=1

Simon, who runs that site, has been selling e-cigs for a long time and he is rock solid and he's got a sale on.

Then come over here http://allaboute-cigarettes.proboards.com/index.cgi for support - it's not a busy board but you will get support within the day :T
