Hi all! I've been reading this thread with interest, and I think I'm going to give the e-cig a go!
It seems that the e-cig-savers kits are the cheapest on Ebay, so I thought I'd try them.
I'm thinking of going for the black mini one. I have a few questions though!
1/ I smoke about 20 golden virginia roll ups a day. How long should the kit last me, with 10 carts? Should I buy some more carts now? Also, can I get liquid "juice" instead of spare carts, and is it cheaper that way?
2/ Has anyone bought a kit from them, and how did you find it?
I think that's all for now...lol
I'd be really grateful for answers, thank you in advance! :T0 -

E-cig-savers are very, very nice people to deal with, they will do their best to sort out any problems you may have.
As for "how long does it last?" - I can't answer that. I would advised that you buy TWO starter kits and order High Tobacco juice from brummie_george on eBay.. His flavours are all inoffensive, not to say particularly tastyYou will find them sweet, whatever you get, but HANG ON IN THERE, your taste changes in spite of yourself
Yes, juice works out much cheaper. I won't complicate things by adding more info here.
I'm saying "order juice from brummie_george" because he's quite cheap and ships fast. It's just to get you started. I drip the juice directly into the atomiser and don't use any stuffing in the cartridges at all, if you did the same you wouldn't need any more carts for a-g-e-s cos you just use the same mouthpiece until you've totally chewed it up
If you would join our little eBay group you wouldn't have to wait nearly 3 days for answers  and we would give you as many hugs as necessary and as much advice from personal experience and you can dream ofIt's got nothing to do with eBay except they provide the space.

Hi everyone,
So... My e-cig arrived on Saturday from OKsmokey. So far so good. My OH is very willing to try it out and last night he did smoke only the E-ciggy while watching TV. Today he is going to take it to work with him to see whether he will manage just with that at the breaks.
As said before, the cartridges that come with the kit do taste of tobacco, but they are quite sweet. We normally smoke Marlboro light, which cartridges/liquid shall we order please?0 -

Good luck
PS, to the poster above. I found them to taste like eating a sweetex tablet....0 -
You still get a blast of nicotine from the electronic ciggie but none of the tar contents or anything polluting the air. They do send out steam (looking like smoke and you inhale it and exhale just like a ciggie) and the steam is much like used in threatres. Its only a small amount of nicotine and it can be used when the urge is there.
I also bought nicotine free ciggies which have a small amount of tar but no nicotine (the other way around) but they taste and smell so bad. I have used them outside a couple of times but inside they would smell too strong for regular use.0 -
To people enquiring about e-cigs, please see my post #324 to Max above. If you buy from eBay via PayPal payment you will have protection, search for sellers "e-cig-savers" and "brummie-george" and buy the Mini from them. I've used both, I'm only recommending them now because, as said above, they are quite cheap and fast, and I've had good aftersales from them both. That's not to say I haven't from others, that's not to say there have never been problems - e-cigs are TEMPERAMENTAL, you put up with it because they are also MIRACLES.
The only side effect I've experienced or heard of is the one where tobacco cigarettes (sometimes known as "analogues") become unpalatable. Non-smokers, especially those in the drugs and tobacco industries with powerful lobbies, spout warnings about e-cigs and their accessories being unregulated - I pray they don't win.
This is the biggest e-cig forum I know of, where you should find answers to every question you can think of - good luck finding your way around there:

And this is the little eBay group - it has 400+ member but there are just a few of us that make a point of calling in regularly to help each other and any newbies that may appear:

You are sure of a warm welcome and individual attention there.
A New Zealand scientist did some favourable research but I haven't got the link on this lappy.
The fact is, you need to take a leap of faith and take the plunge. All you have to lose is about £60 start-up money.

wouldnt bother with that one http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vSqBm4GqTwY ,bad review, over priced and they state the carts are equivalent to 15 cigatettes,,they arnt0 -
I have the generic Gamucci, the "Classic" - plenty of vape but almost no hit. One of the two batteries packed up after very little use, it kept blinking for 3 days
There are quite a few interesting new models coming onto the market now, among them the Janty "Stick", the "Dura-C" (also from Janty, I think), and "soon" to come from over the pond, but no date and it's going to cost about £100, I reckonthe Prodigy VI.
Here's a link to the, er, strange-looking, Janty Stick: http://www.ivapour.co.uk/jantystick-1/janty-stick.html
and here's the Dura-C (also available elsewhere but this is a nice company, their juices are nifty little sizes and delivery is cheap and quick): http://www.smokejuice.co.uk/userimages/procart16.htm

Hi all,
I'm not trying to sell anything, but someone recommended me to try this company - as it happens they are only a five minute drive from where I live so I went over to see them in person. I'm 42 and have been smoking since I was 15, on average a packet a day - menthols mostly.
This was 3 weeks ago and hand on heart since I started using the e-cig, I've not had one regular cigarette, in fact I haven't even had any cravings either. I did swap my cartridges from medium menthol to high menthol about a week in, as I needed a bigger hit, but apart from this I've had no problem. I'm using the 306 style e-cig as you can see in the link below. I would recommend this style of e-cig to anyone in a similar situation to myself. Here's the link:-

Good luck everyone and let's all keep it up.

You are an amateur, lol
Seriously, though, congratulations, I only wish e-cigs had existed when I was 42
I've heard of ECS but haven't used them. After 6 months mainly on the Mini DSE901 I am about to embark on the new JANTY "STICK"
http://www.ivapour.co.uk/janty-stick-1.html
I pre-ordered to save a fiver. I didn't consider it at first but eventually the attraction of the USB charging & vaping at the same time hooked me, I should be getting it next week but Janty (best quality manufacturer in the market) have been wavering on final release date. Non-pre-orders are supposed to be ready for despatch on 1 June.
Here's a link to YouTube reviews from testers:
http://www.youtube.com/results?search_type=&search_query=janty+stick&aq=f
After the initial reaction "I'm not vaping that thing in public!", I realised that the shape could be an advantage - easier to say it's a vapourising device and not draw attention to oneself because of "smoking" a cigarette lookalike.
I will let you know how it goes.
