Some of the UK based ones are run by vendors, but it should be easily seen that they are.
Todds reviews (uk based, non biased) is also a decent place to refer to, plus he has just done a video for beginners. Sometimes he does go over the head of beginners, so this is great.

I don' t know the ins and outs, but there was some controversy in the past linked to certain forums being threatened with legal action. But I'm not interested in what happened in the past, I think that the advice of being careful still stands.
If I have to be honest, now that I know a bit more, I can see when a certain forum is being biased. When I didn't know anything about e-cig, it was hard to tell. So the advice for people who are not sure, when searching the internet, is still the same. A forum doesn't need to be run by vendors to be biased, it could be a vendor's close friend/partner/family member, or it could be through affiliate links.
I haven't kept track of which forum it is, but I've noticed that one uses affiliate links (similar to what MSE does).
I also have to say that regarding AAEC there was a comment that gave me the impression that was created by former ebay vendors, but that's not the case, in fact that made me even more careful about the advice they give, and I have to say it's the best advice I found online, and it's my go-to ecig forum nowwhose advice I'm happy to follow.
I haven't followed the other UK forums as much, so I can't really comment on them.0 -
msarah, nitin21, are you forum spammers?0

I'm addicted to aaec and they've helped my journey quite considerably.
I'm on my third set up which should see me right for a long time and saved hundreds already in the last 6 weeks after I stopped buying 20 fags a day. My fitness in the gym has sky rocketed to so they can't be all bad hopefully.0 -
You would be better off trying a tank system. You fill the tank with your preferred flavour of e-juice and they are much less hassle than the catridges. you also get a much better experience and the battery lasts much longer too.
We have a new device called the buddy elips and it a very small and dainty device ideal for anyone wanting to try electronic cigarettes and all for just £19.99
google buddy e-lips for more info0 -

Your post seems to have a little element of :spam: the way you have set it out.
It also is a little nonsensical to say getting a tank and refilling the e-liquid is "less hassle" than a remove from the packaging and screw to the battery of a cartridge.
It's also disingenuous to mention battery life as a plus to your product as you can use pre filled cartridges or self filled e-liquid tanks in the same battery.
Your £20 deal is quite expensive, a person could buy a decent quality high capacity battery like the joyetech and and a tank for around £20.
I've just bought similar from vape-escape.
Joyetech battery £14

Vision Mini Nova tank £10

Discount code 'allabout' - giving 10% off.
Far better than any "bargain" offer, I wasted money on 2 "bargains" that the person I bought them for said were quite ineffective. My suggestions have twice the battery power and twice the capacity of your bargain, and your battery looks suspiciously like a Joyetech knock off.====0 -
I don't think so, the website they mention is one of the most recommended on e-cig forums. Also spammers normally tend to be new members
The websites mentioned by the spammers above are unknown and I would advise anyone looking into buying e-cigs to stay away from them.0 -
To follow up my earlier post (#1419 ) - I've been vaping for 3 weeks now and not touched a cigarette since the day my parcel arrived - and that's despite me still having left over cigs around the house! My home and clothes no longer stink of fags, my g/f is over the moon, I have a sense of smell and taste again and I feel generally healthier. If you're thinking of doing it, then go for it!
The AACE website was unbelievably helpful (and friendly) and the advice there helped me to buy exactly what I needed to fit my requirements (the thread is here is anyone is interested: http://allaboute-cigarettes.proboards.com/thread/24824/hi-advice-needed )
Altogether I've spent around £100, but that includes top quality stuff, loads of spare parts and a large selection of e-liquids so that I could find a flavor and strength that I liked.
When you first look into it, it can appear quite confusing due to the different equipment that you can buy, but if you ask for help then people will explain it to you and it all becomes clear. I would certainly recommend asking for advice about what equipment to buy, as it could potentially save you quite a bit of money and hassle.0 -

Well done :T
I wish more people were aware of e-cig (good quality stuff, not cigarette-like ones), so that they could quit smoking for good, instead of being put off by the gov. protecting the interests of pharma and tobacco companies. So many un-necessary deaths from smoking0 -
I've done my best to trawl through the posts here, and also looked on the suggested other forum, but I think I have hit information overload.
I wondered if anyone had any simple advice or links to a product that would suit me...
I just want a decent e-cig that I dont need to guddle about with, filling up things, and footering, just something I can put together, and use, and that tastes like real ciggys, not chocolate or snoozeberries.
Thanks in advanceI don't know much, but I know I love you ....<30 -

Buy an ego battery and some pre filled carts. About £10 for the battery, £4 for the charger and £5 for 5 cartridges.
I've bought from vape escape and go4smoke and can recommend both.
To add:
There are discount codes for both, do a google search for the vape escape one (10%), go4smoke is g4suk for 7.5%.====0
