Depends on the flavour - Some do taste a bit iffy but I don't think its chemical, just the different flavour formation and yes, IME the 510 atomiser is quite harsh with some flavours.

Just wanted to chuck in my two pence worth.

I started with a SkyCig about a year ago but found the battery life to be poor and the cost of the cartridges was mounting up.

I then tried a generic Ego with variable voltage batteries and replaceable atomiser heads which was much better but had a tendency to leak and both of the batteries failed within a couple of days of each other.

I then decided to buy a genuine Joyetech Ego C from Vape Escapes and have not looked back.

Three months off the fags, no leaks and the only problem I had was when I put the whole cigarette in my pocket and sat down which snapped one of the batteries.

I usually buy a pack of 5 atomiser heads every month and about 60ml of medium juice.

They have some great flavours and pick & mix allows you to try them before you buy large quantities.

Free delivery over £40 and there is a 10% discount code floating around, I think it is ECR69.

Hi all sorry if this has been asked before, too many posts to read through.
Basically I have been using nicolites and nicocigs for a few months now, they have just put the cost of the cartomizers up so was looking at buying an e-cig that I can refill only I have no idea where to start, can someone point me in the right direction, I used to smoke 20 a day what liquid should I buy? How long does a 30ml bottle last? I'd like an e-cig that doesnt try to look like a real cigarette and produces a lot of vapour. What spares or extra parts do I need to buy. I liked the idea of nicolites because you don't need to think of this sort of stuff but the carts are sometimes duff so run out within an hour and at £7.50 a pack now if you get a bad batch its costing just as much as smoking! Ha thanks in advance. X

I'd suggest, from my own and others' experience (there is no rule about this) you start with 12 or 18mg and see. I was smoking 50 rollies a day and started with 24mg, which suited me from the get-go. I reduced that over time, to 8 or 10mg, where I am now.

Using ordinary atties or cartomisers, 30ml could last you a fortnight.

I'd have a look at the Ego series - it's nothing like a real fag in looks. :) Plus the 510 connection has become a de-facto standard now, so getting Ego batteries and charger means that most of the atties and tanks will fit it (allowing for the capacities involved - you don't want a small battery trying to run a high-current atty).

Vapour production is up to you, you can change the juice and atties you use and influence the amount of vapour you produce. It can be handy, in some places to still get a nice hit and very low amounts of vapour.
