I have used electric cigarettes for about a year now. At first it was just because I couldn't smoke many places but could use the electric ones anywhere.
I have given up completely now and only smoke the e cig because I actually find them better.
Some of them I have had problems with and the disposable ones that look like cigarettes really didn't do anything for me.
I currently smoke one called a nova and have a fruit punch flavour currently, although this does change every other week or so,
Best place I have found them is savingmoneysavinglives dot org (I can't post links yet sorry,) the checkout can be a bit tricky but other than that I have had no problems andf the range they have is suitable for my needs.

Okay, been watching this thread for a while and feel like its time for the plunge.
From what I can read, it seems like the ego twist is a 'goodun' to get, but is there different makes of this as the prices seem to vary?
I didnt really want to buy a kit, as I feel that for not at least, one battery will be enough, so seems a shame to spend loads on stuff I dont really need at first.
Have spotted this one, can someone please say if its any good at all, and also, will I just need juice on top of this to get started?
    Many thanks,
Oh, and the one I am looking at is....

  • Hi Dave, the Twist is a good battery, but the problem with just having one is, what are you going to use while it's charging?

Before you make up your mind have a look around here and take note of the discount codes

  • What Karma says is quite true. Though an 1100 battery will likely last you a full day. It is always recommended to have a spare battery as a back-up.

Depending on where you live, but its not like smoking, where you can just pop to the shop for a pack of 20.

so true Brian...My top bit just died on me (the vivi nova - I like it cos it's cheap and lasts ages!!!) yesterday and like I had to order a new bit. The only bit I can buy locally for my e-cig is like the glycerine I use to dilute the strong stuff (cos I mix my own)...everything else is mail order. This can take anything from a few days to 6 weeks to arrive (a few days is for UK suppliers - 6 weeks for some of the foreign ones)....so always best to have plenty of kit in....

And two batteries and a charger and some juice and some 'top bits' and you're fine for a newbie. Top bits can be just cartomisers or like the vivi nova or anywhere in between.....

Hope that helps and doesn't confuse :)

Thanks for the answers. I do intend to get some spares, but just wanted to try it out first to see if I could get away with it, just I was worried this was the 'wrong' twist, as it seems cheaper than other places. Charging should not be a problem, as at work I have gaps of 2 hours where I cant smoke anyway, so I can leave it on my desk charging during those times.

  • If anyone just wants to try e-cigs or would like to buy a very cheap one as stocking filler for smoker friend/relative, then you can't get any cheaper than this -

OK, it's not going to be as good as something like a Riva or Ego, but at that price it;s worth giving e-cigs a try :)

  • It is very cheap Dave & I can't see any reason that it wont perform any less well than any other ciggie lookalike. OK, it is a three piece (battery, atomiser & cartridges), & the fitting isn't a standard 510, but neither are some of the other ciggie lookalikes that are being sold with only one battery for £30.00 or even more.
