So when you listen to your mates CD on your stereo you are "stealing" then? You have not paid for the CD to listen to therefore you shouldn't listen to it?
Pathetic, gone were the days when I could go to HMV on a Saturday and buy a new album, take it home and record it then go back to HMV for a refund....until they changed their refund policy, oh what was the name of that other company, Britannia Music, order what you want on credit, record the lot and send it all back before the cooling off period ended, ooh those were the days. :p
Since when has the world of computer software design been about what people want? This is a simple question of evolution. The day is quickly coming when every knee will bow down to a silicon fist, and you will all beg your binary gods for mercy.

I'm sorry but i just had to laugh, i find it almost unbelievable that anyone could happily download all the music they ever wanted for FREE and not think it was illigal.

To the OP...if your children are above the age of about 10, then they know that what they are doing is illigal.

There have been a few news stories about people getting sent to prison and fined because of this kind of thing, but its generally only those who publish and share the content, so unless youve been ripping hundreds of DVD's i doubt anything would come of it.

But if you have to do things illigally...try not to do it in such an obvious and trackable manner.
