Edited post but heres a bonus for all MSE folk, I just cancled my order of the 3 xbox 360's core so you know argos have some stock, I really just want a premium, and selling prices aren't worth nout to me.

Just rang Argos, they hvem't any in stock but the guy told me that they had some this morning

Same here, I want the premium. Seems like more ad more stock around uk is appearing.

Don't want to take this topic off thread, but are there any differences between the core and premium 360's, apart from the wireless controller and hard drive?

I'm just thinking that for the extra cash i'm not too bothered about a wireless controller, and I can just use an external USB harddrive?!?!

Any comments?

Premium is much better value with extra bits

You can only use the official 360 HD for most of the juicy features.

External USB drives only work for streaming music/video etc (IIRC)

The Currys link appears to be showing a Premium, but doesn't stipulate if it is.

Does anyone know if it is or isn't?

hmm, not sure. you can remove all the added extras and it's still £499 - suggesting it might be a premium...

If it's the same as the Dixons one then it's a core system. I had one delivered from Dixons .... strange thing is that the individual selling prices add up to less than the £499.
