Just wanted to mention that the links to your blog on the programme notes page don't link to the right families ;)

    Normal INcome families?

Yesterday jenny cross's income was £12,000 a year. There's a mix across the programmes. The average UK salary is £24,000. We stretch from £12k to £60k (between two) so its roughly mixed with the average.

Remember the key to the programme is more about the 'ways to save' than the specific families. Hopefully the higher numbers encourage people.

thats considered rich, I suppose its area by area.
  • i made the mistake of buying a new car on fiance and lost a fortune
    Cost of car £8675
    Despot £2000
    Payment £126 x 14 Months @ 6% APR & 10,000 miles later
Sold car £5700 = Me a bit wiser never to do that again.

That might be the programme makers' intentions but really we are all nosey b******s and are much more interested in what people's bedrooms and kitchens look like and how much they earn. :snow_laug But the amounts of savings involved can't fail to interest people I would have thought.

    BENEFITS!
This is a vast area where people don't claim what they could. A lot are put off like Mrs. Walker said by the forms or the stigma attached to claiming. Most people though live within reach of a Citizens Advice Bureau or other welfare benefits or disability organisations and can get help filling them in.

    Torgwen.......... :) ...........
