dh and I have 8 fixed rate accounts and interest has been added to 7. I am very happy about the 7 accounts and have fingers crossed re the 8th. Not because I doubt it will happen but I just want everything to go through smoothly, without having to ring up0

I have one easy access and 2 fixed rate. I checked them yesterday morning and nothing added, in the afternoon, after reading this thread I checked again. The easy access and one fixed rate had interest added. Phoned Icesave and the girl said she had several calls about this but had no info. She checked with superviser and she too had not been informed but guessed that IT Dept were working through the accounts to ready them for the compensation. With luck they might all have been updated by tomorrow and certainly by the time they are ready to start moving the money.
Very pleased to see that FSCS have moved things along so quickly and extremely grateful that action was taken to preserve our money.0 -
I'd been checking regularly, even this morning and my Easy Access ISA has just had interest added.Temrael
Don't use a long word when a diminutive one will suffice.0 -
I have just checked my ice save fixed term accounts. The total now includes the capital plus Octobers interest, but excludes the interest for the previous months, even though they have been calculated, any ideas?0

I looked again and they have added the 8th account interest. Quick stuff and their computer must be working non stop. I also set up a B and B e saver account. Ready and waiting now

edited: also just added principality e saver
I have to stop adding accounts
They are stop gaps really, as I want better rates otherwise inflation and falling interest rates will eat into the savings in no time
lol and tongue in cheek: the winner is my os stockpiled food store as everything I bought has increased substantially in value0 -
My savings account had been credited with interest when I checked yesterday, but not my ISA. Checked again today and the ISA had been done too. Good news!0

Amazing, they've actually added interest to 10-10-2008 and my processed amount is now showing as cleared, so far so good.!0

Two Isa's and Two fixed term bonds have all now had the interest added to them-don't know if it's correct but I'm very happy with it!:j Hopefully by this time next week our money will be safely back in our bank accounts but another headache looming as to where to put it now?0
