Just checked my ISA and it has interest paid up to 10 Oct 2008 now! The figure seems too low though. By my calculations it's £11 short.0

I got a mixture of some fixed rate ones having had interest added and some not. Nothing on my ISA. I guess its just as they are part way through the process and I'd expect all of them to be showing with interest to 10/10 in the next day or so.0

Just checked my 3 accounts with IceSave (1 x Easy Access & 2 x Fixed Term Accounts). All 3 accounts have had interest added up to 10 Oct and the Fixed Term Accounts have a maturity date set as 10 Oct too. I now know how much money I will be claiming back and I am very pleased and relieved. :j
Did you try closing your easy access account, or had you just left it? Reason I'm asking is, I closed mine and it was automatically re-opened when the funds bounced back due to Icesave going bust. Unfortunatley, when it was re-opened all previous transaction history has been lost (probably not on their system though, just on what I can view), which I think is going to cause problems for me when trying to reclaim the capital + interest due.0 -

I'm in the same position as you, 10_66. I closed my instant access a/c on 6/10/08 and when it bounced back it showed the opening date as 9/10/08 wtihout my previous transaction history. However I just logged in and interest has been added to my account on 10/10/08. The interest seems the right amount since I was last credited in Feb 2008. Hopefully this means that the transaction history is stored somewhere and links to the account holder so you should get the interest due. Hope this helps.0 -
If we all receive our fixed rate deposits back from IceSave I suppose a lot of money will flood into other fixed rate accounts over a period of a week or two. Given there will be a bank rate cut almost definitely before we get deposits back I wonder what fixed rates will be around by then. Unlikely there will still be rates over 7% as now. Is it likely that institutions will keep their rates fairly competitive to attract the new money that they know must go somewhere?0

I've also had interest paid up until the 10th on my easy access.
Not as much as I was expecting/hoping for, but beggars can't be choosers.0 -

Have just phoned Icesave and they confirm that an amount of interest was added to my account wef 10/10/08, but I can't see it on my screen. They've "refreshed" my account and said I should see it after 24 hrs. I tell you, I wish they could refresh me. What with this and a fiasco with Kaupthing Edge (my money had got lost in the ether, it's taken from 7/10 until 29/10 to get it back, eventhough they were taken over by ING. At one point it looked like I'd get my money back from Icesave sooner than KE). I'm done in!0 -
Had interest on my fixed bond maturing next year added, but not on my Easy Account0

(PS. Hoping we have the option to keep fixed bonds running - I haven't a clue where to put the funds right now!)
My fixed term account also had interest paid on the 10/10/08, so I assume this is will be the new "maturity" date. Pity they aren't allowing them to run to the original maturity date, but I can understand, makes it simpler to pay everyone at the same time.
No additional interest in my instant access account though...
PS no problems in logging in, all details shown, including e-mail address.0 -
Interest on all my fixed rate 6 mth & 12mth bonds - feeling great today despite bad weather.
Note from The Times today - Iceland Banks asked for help from Bank Of England last April - should they not have mentioned it more loudly (B of E)- then I wouldn't have invested and expect that goes for many others.0
