    £20 debit for CHAPS received 27th - dated 7th on A/C
  • My account details were incorrect I finally discovered, so the money had nowhere to go if indeed it was sent in the first place. The details have since been corrected by KE.

    I asked the call center at KE for an update and the reply was not good.
    They said that head office at KE had located the money (she did not know where it was) and had logged a recall. That is not the same as starting the process of recalling it she explained and as they had not done a recall before did not know how long it would take when it was finally initiated. Now the very bad bit, the administrators would decide on the next step and it could be some time. The call center did not know whether the money would be recalled to my KE account or go to my now corrected nominated account. It really looks to me as if there is not enough money in the pot at the moment.

    Martin, Dan please give me some advice I am begining to feeel the pinch now.
  • Nothing for me either, but have had the dreadful email saying 'held up at the clearing bank' . No phone call today as promised either. I think they are frightened of speaking to us!

    Used the transfer system many times between KE and A&L, never a problem before.

    However, some of you getting money has cheered me up so much I'm going pink again.......

    How about long holiday with luxury spa thrown in and a car on the side?....a nice way to dream away the hours ......days.....while I wait........

  • It really looks to me as if there is not enough money in the pot at the moment.

    This is exactly what I have been thinking. I think maybe it's a case of who shouts loudest etc. :confused:

    Can someone please explain how they could possibly have incorrect account details? To open an account with KE, you had to send statements from your linked bank with all relevant details required. When making a withdrawal from KE, it automatically sends it to that linked account without prompting in my experience

    Did KE make this mistake? Have you ever made withdrawals previous without any problems?
