Just a short note to report that for my wife and I two BACS withdrawals out of KE savings initiated on Monday 17th am arrived in our linked account late pm today by CHAPS. Almost normal service. I am still fuming however that our 3 year fixed term accounts were not honoured which is something that I intend to persue with KE and ING and E&Y and FOS and FSA.

Also recd wife's Isa cash from Icesave courtesy fscs initiated last Sunday after discovering we had received 2nd email.Now only remains for my second email to arrive then thats it thank God

Just to say,we're still supporting those still waiting!!!!!

Bound to be an inquiry when all the money is finally repaid......apparently ING were hoping to take expert advice from missing canoeist John Darwin and his wife on how to get their story straight.
But the Darwins said even they couldn't come up with a decent explanation!

transfered money from Ings savings account by Chaps on 7/11/08. Ater many phone calls and letter I sent to MD it finally arrived in my receiving account yesterday 19/11/08!!! I am closing the account after this farce.

Money now in Citibank at long last - 1 month later. In fairness to KE a lot of the problem was an incorrect sort code for Citibank. However, I only found this out from other forum members and it was a job getting the details changed. A big thankyou to all fellow Citibankers who gave me advice and to the rest of you for your support.
