  • Hi all

Only posted a couple of times on here and I was fortunate enough to receive my money a couple of weeks ago. I can't believe people are still waiting - I really feel for you!

Anyhow - noticed another post mentioned Alastair Hemming and I was in contact with him by email generally making demands and I was one of the earlier ones to receive my money back, so would second the suggestion to get in touch with him as he seems to be able to make things happen.

Good luck to everyone who hasn't yet received their money!

Had to cut my weekend to Donegal short as my grand-daughter was taken into hospital for overnight observation but, guess what

37,800 little souls that were lost in KE/ING Purgatory have made their way to the Heaven which is PanicButton's Bank of Ireland A/c. I now have some idea how the father of the prodigal son felt - bring out the fatted calf!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Thanks to all those who gave me such unselfish support over the past weeks, you know who you are; I will be back in the morning to thank you properly and to continue to give my support to those still waiting.

At last! Very best wishes to you and your grand daughter!

Well that's two promised deadlines gone (Thursday, then Friday COB) and still no money. I don't know how they can categorically state on the website that all held up payments are now sorted as we all know they are not!!!!!

I have been patient up to now but this is getting silly.
  • Am I the only person left still waiting for my Kaupthing edge savings???
As of yesterday 7th November ING wesite indicates that all payments have been made, have rung up several times since Tuesday and have been fobbed off with it is being passed to head office. Really starting to panic now is anybody else in this boat???????

Same here, it seems the help center are almost as fed up as we are, are not able to influence very much at all.

Although I think this time ING has sorted out most of the problems there are a number of cases including mine where our money is still missing. I think theFury's list is at around 20 but some of these may well have been sorted and not got round to contacting him. On the other hand the people on this list would only have ever have been a fraction of those involved. My guess is that ING now have around 100 cases or so left to resolve. Some of these will have involved mistaken account/sort code details, others are incomming paymens and doubtless there are a bunch of other specific factors. If you havent got your money by Monday morning email Alastair Hennings at ING cleardot.gifalastair.hemmings@ingdirect.co.uk or phone him (scroll back on the list to find his contact details) as he seems to be the one at ING sorting this mess out. Given that ING has publically stated that they believe there are NO outstanding cases, they really are probably down to double figures so I would have thought they will sort out the remainder by the end of next week.
  • Please advise me. I want to transfer my money out of KE so that I can catch the last of the good fixed rate deals out there. Am I wasting my time trying to do so? Will I miss the boat because of KE? Should I attempt to transfer my money now or might it result in my money dissapearing to no man's land? Thanks.
