CHAPS/SWIFT transfers, as ING are using and has been repeatedly stated in this thread, do not start hitting accounts until mid-afternoon and can arrive at any point up to close of business.

I too got email at 11.23a.m. to say that "one batch of payments failed" but the money would be in by close of business yesterday.
    Guess what.
Further email at 19.04 after phone call to tell them it was not in saying my payment had missed the cut-off time BUT
it will be in tomorrow-so thats alright then -NOT
Bizzarely, my wife's money has turned up!
Not in the destination Account but back in the KE account.
Another phone call to them extracted the fact that the sort code that SHE HAD GIVEN THEM had 0ne digit incorrect.
She does not accept this but unlike my Account their is no details of the SORT CODE that the hold on line.
MY CONCLUSION SO FAR-They continue on a daily basis to tell more lies than a cheap watch!!!

Had a call yesterday to "guarantee" that my money would be in my account by COB yesterday. Surprise, surprise, when I checked this morning nothing was there.

Just called Kaupthing Edge and apparently the administrators have said that there was a problem with the clearing bank (where have I heard that line before) and definitely, definitely the money would be in my account today.

Does anyone think that this time will be any different???

Nothing in my account either as of 10am this morning. Perhaps they only come in after a certain time. Does anyone know?

Mine arrived last Tuesday Chaps at around 4.45 pm. Chaps do not normally start being processed till the afternoon after 1.30 pm.
Hang on in there. Lets hope the floodgates open today
Chaps requested 8th October : money left my account 8th October : £20 chaps fee deducted : destination account Halifax : Chaps fee of 20 re-funded to my KE account 27th October but dated 8th October: On the spreadsheet and received generic e-mail 29th October. Funds paid to my linked account 4th November

No surprise, there's no money fro me. Am off out for the afternoon on a client visit (trying to earn some desperately needed dosh) and will log in later for massive celebrations!?

I was quite excited this morning because my right palm was itching...but I now think "money in" might be the left palm. Basically, I know nothing.

I am so impressed with the continued support from you all:T
    CHAPS 7/10 £20K landed in Barclays 7/11:j

It's definitely "right receive" and my hand is itching as well. Could be a good sign or just an allergy to washing-up liquid. Have also seen two magpies! We shall see.
  • A couple of weeks back I posted having received the transfer in my linked account only for it to have disappeared straight back out the same day under "F/FLOW CORRECTION". This has now happened a second time. KE can offer no help other than "we know there is a pronblem" and "it's with the administrators, we can't do anything except reset passwords". ING continue to distance themselves yet publish the number we are all using to talk to people who have no ability to help us whatsover, other than emailing the administrators on our behalf and claiming there is nothing else they can do.

I think we would be better off is KE had fully gone under like Icesave, at least FSCS have been in touch about when compensation will be paid and seem to be in control of the situation! It seems totally outrageous that a handful of administrators are being allowed to delay and hold up people getting their money in this way, yet what can any of us do about it? Surely there has to be an investigation into the incompetent manner in which this whole affair has been handled.

To make matters worse my own bank cannot tell me why or indeed where the transferred funds that were "returned" have disappeard to. Great!

I cant believe this has happened twice ! I thought it was unheard of first time round !!! Had you ever made withdrawals from KE to this same linked account in the past ?? I think you really need to try to get your own bank on board to help you . I know you said they cant but a while ago I had a problem with a Direct Debit that wasnt mine and my bank said there was nothing they could do so I rang the branch manager and told him that either he became involved or I was going to withdraw all my money and close the 3 accounts I had with them . It worked .... just a thought .....
