Anyone viewing this thread who is not in receipt of their transfer, please check your name is on the list .
As I will be at work during the day it will be difficult for me to keep a close eye on who is new and needs adding or who is getting paid – I will try my best. However it would be best if people can, please PERSONAL MESSAGE me if you need adding or removing – do NOT edit the list yourself.

The total “missing money” for 31 out of 64 is £ 822.,070 (LESS THAN A MILLION!)

35 out of the 63 waiting requested transfers on the 7th/ 8th October

I had a rather interesting chat this morning iwth ING and it certainly shows this thread is being monitored, by both ING and the adminstrators (hiya if you're reading this).

The messsage that came through to me, that I will pass through unfiltered is that there's frustration on all sides both ING as the info isn't come to them, and the administrators who are trying to sort through a mass of data that was simply ported from Kaupthing as was. There's a sense there that "this is unprecedented, and they are all working though unchartered territory."

As I say, Im not filtering or interpreting it - more passing it on.

My response was "sounds very interesting, why doesn't someone tell people about it, keeping these things quiet and pretending its all smooth makes things worse, be open with problems being encountered and people feel more comfortable as at least they understand a process is being worked through!" And hopefully be reiterating that message hear, it'll get through even more so...

Wouldn’t it be awful to suggest that the KE team pulled the plug and made things complicated, out of spite. I’m sure that wasn’t the case. I don’t suppose we’ll ever know but I have seen one or two posts from Icelanders that blame the UK for causing a run on the bank, in the first place. Let them leave their life savings in there and take a chance on ever seeing it again.

Just got in and looked in my nominated account (FIRST DIRECT) to see its finally arrived. I requested it on 8-10-08 via chaps.
I would not invest a penny in Ing after the way they have handled this situation.

Hooray, just got my £10800.00 from Kaupthing. I sent an email today explaining about my very poor health (bad heart) and what effect the stress was having and I believe they acted on that. I hate to use my condition in this way and a person like me should perhaps not be chasing high saving rates but I was very worried about it. Now I have to decide what to do about the term deposit and, where to put the money now in my current account so I am off to check the safest building societies.

Congratulations to the 22, have a great Halloween!
Hope there will also be later reports of payments coming in as others check their accounts like yesterday. Also, according to Martin, they are finally putting in some overtime to clear the backlog!

Wahooo!... I can't quite believe it but, it does appear my KE money has appeared in my A&L account!... This was originally requested on the evening of the 6th, I got added to their spreadsheet in the evening of the 27th, so what's that 25 days?

So you can now remove me from your list, I have to say, this forum has been a life saver! Good Luck to you all still waiting...
