Got mine!!

Had a phone call from a nice lady at about 4.10pm.. as I was talking to her (and talking in a very dubious tone, ie yes i have heard all this before) I checked and it was there!! :beer:

Now for the rest...!!! we are still with those of you remaining!!!

I did question her about the people remaining, she told me a few hundred, and they are clearing a hundred a day (hmmm yes right)....

[I had a rather interesting chat this morning iwth ING and it certainly shows this thread is being monitored, by both ING and the adminstrators (hiya if you're reading this).

The messsage that came through to me, that I will pass through unfiltered is that there's frustration on all sides both ING as the info isn't come to them, and the administrators who are trying to sort through a mass of data that was simply ported from Kaupthing as was. There's a sense there that "this is unprecedented, and they are all working though unchartered territory."

As I say, Im not filtering or interpreting it - more passing it on.

My response was "sounds very interesting, why doesn't someone tell people about it, keeping these things quiet and pretending its all smooth makes things worse, be open with problems being encountered and people feel more comfortable as at least they understand a process is being worked through!" And hopefully be reiterating that message hear, it'll get through even more so...

I'd certainly agree with you Martin.
If somebody from the administrators had bothered to explain what the problems have been, rather than leaving call centre staff on ?£6 an hour to 'fend off' people's enquiries - life would have been a lot easier for hundreds of people during the last few weeks.

Administrators - how would you have felt if you had been one of the people on this thread during the last few weeks??

ING said they were following the thread and they must have a swingin' brick for a heart if they have not been moved by what has been posted here.

I think there seems to some sort of a pattern a very similar experience to mine. Email at 6.30 this morning and a heavy duty message on KPE secure system. Good luck to all.:beer:

Well you may remember that I haven't waited as long as you as I requested a closure of a FTB 13 Oct. After some hell raising on the phones they finally put the money back in my KE so called easy access a/c on 28th - from whence I bacsed it same day. It wouldn't allow that day w/d 'cos it was too late(after 2:00pm?) so the clock was counting 3 working days 29th 30th 31st.
So did I get today in my linked account? No!
My bank says it wouldn't be unusual for it to run over a day... but checked the BACS pipe and added they can see nowt for Monday either
KE help desk say it'll be there Monday, they checked linked account detail & confirm correct. "No problem with KE for normal withdrawal" says Rosalin.
"How come I did w/d from Northern sock next day and it arrives in my linked account this morning?" I say. "Dunno" she says but chuff all she can do until Monday as nobody there will look at it til its overdue, and it ain't o/d til Mon. "It'll be there Monday, trust me..... I'm Nigerian... " she says. :eek:

1 or 2 came through very late last night. Although being very frustrating, the fact that quite a few received money today, must be encouraging for you.
