Just where the hell is Martin ???? This whole situation is now a disgrace. Can he not see that the longer it drags on, the worse it looks for this website ? I can tolerate silence from ING, but why isn't Martin communicating ?
Please understand that Martin has no inside track on this problem. He can only bring so much media attention, for a short period. After that, the circus moves on so to speak. AFAIK, nobody else has done anything. It surely does not in anyway reflect on this website.
I understand you are angry, but blaming innocent parties does not help anyone. In case you hadn't already worked it out - the entire global financial system is predicated on the assumption that you're an idiot:cool:0 -
Well, its now 48 Hours Later. Still no money from my 7th October BACS
I hope some of you get luckier than me!0 -
Just to confirm again .....not FIVE paid y'day...we were paid first week of fiasco....only FOUR y'day.
Good luck today, all I can say is that really EVERYONE still waiting must contact as many media contacts as possible(there is a list a page or two back),plus obviously ING/KE,Treasury,FSA,Ombudsman,Nat West etc.
Would it be a good idea to have ONE e-mail drawn up on here for everyone to copy and send to ALL the contacts/head offices we have......one mass protest in other words? The more you complain in unison, the more surely someone will HAVE to listen!!!0 -
Good morning all,
Thanks again everyone for your all your support it was much appreciated.
Although I got my money yesterday sadly only 4 people,I will be in the wings giving my utmost support to you all.
I know the waiting can be utterly intense and very debilitating, but try to stay positive if you can, as all of us receivers think Hometunes list will be fading by Friday.
ING/KE honour all your promises now the people here have done all the shouting and complaining known to man for christsake!!!!!!!!0 -
Morning everyone! Still nothing in my account. Had, yet another interesting conversation with KE last night. This is the story I got (after I'd told her about the forum and what we had collectively and individually surmised)........'When the s..t hit the fan on 8th all accounts were frozen, no money went anywhere. During last week SOME accounts were released by the administrators and money left those accounts. By the end of last week the guys at the end of the phones were told to say everyone would would get their money by Friday 24th and this information was put up on the KE website. However, they knew that there was agroup of people who would not get their money because those accounts had not been released by the administrators!! Which accounts??? Those that tried to transfer their money out on 7th/8th!! She said the administrators finally started to release those accounts on Monday 27th and she thinks they have now all been released and that we should all be getting our money 'this week'. Not sure I dare to believe this but ....lots of fingers crossed.....!I have money!!!!:j :j :j :j 31st October 3.30pm. Organised by nice lady from E & Y, very, very grateful.
£20 debit for CHAPS received 27th - dated 7th on A/C0 -

Guys, writing your misadventures in this forum to vent-off your frustrations with KE/ING won't expedite the return of your money. This issue MUST GET OUT OF THIS FORUM.
I have contacted the Financial Ombudsman Service and made a formal complaint against KE/ING. Anyone that has their money held up should contact the Financial Ombudsman, so that they know that THIS IS NOT AN ISOLATED CASE. The Financial Obudsman will allow them up to 8 weeks to short it out. So call as quickly as possible.
Below are their web site and phone number. Good luck to us all.

I.m sorry for everyone missing their money and know what you are going through - just to get this clear in my mind - are the missing payments from ordinary accounts or term accounts? I think term accounts might take longer. Just interested as I am an Icelandic investor and thank god I got my KE back but still ICE to go. Wishing you all then best and still here supporting you.
Mine's from the instant saver account, it's not even all my account, and I still have a fixed term that I wasn't going to touch yet, but once everything has settled I'll be transferring that out as well. There's no point transferring it now because it will go into the administrators black hole or whatever.0
