We had this problem too, I'm sure someone will be along with a better idea in a moment but I used to scrub it with a brush and stick it in the washing machine every so often. In the end though we just got rid of it and just tried not to fall over in the bath.:staradmin0

just stick it in the washing machine and it'll come up like new0

I think you'll find it's mould - I use bleach (sometimes neat sometimes mixed with water in a spray bottle) - spray it over the mat and leave it for an hour or so and then rinse.I have a gift for enraging people, but if I ever bore you it'll be with a knife

Afer use try leaving bath mat to dry on side of the bath rather than leaving it stuck down. Gives it a chance to dry out before next time and maybe stops any possible mould etc.0

sorry i should probably mention its not mould.....
its newspaper print, i made the mistake of picking up newspaper when wearing my rubber gloves then touching the mat and the print came off....Aug £10 a day £0/£10000 -
Hi, when I'm cleaning my bath mat I just roll it into a loose roll and put it in the sink. Cover the mat with cold water and add a small amount of bleach. I then leave it for a couple of hours (over night is best), rinse it well and put back into the bath. This usually removes any marks or soap scum left on the mat.0

I don't have one in this house, but in previous homes I had two and stuck them in the washing machine every coupe of days with the washing, they never got that pink stuff on them, or mould. It's what is inside your head that matters in life - not what's outside your windowEvery worthwhile accomplishment, big or little, has its stages of drudgery and triumph; a beginning, a struggle and a victory. - Ghandi0
