Can someone tell me (I've got an advanced case of menopause brain these days) .......I realise the offers change on the 5th, and the new mag vouchers kick in then, but do the ACM offers also change then too? I've had a pretty rubbish month or two out the ACM. I could do with some new vouchers to stretch my Boots Brain Training.
(Oh, and my 2ps worth on the current kerfuffle is over on the Refugees thread. Got to be said, really.)Val.0 -

I know a few have answered my question re returning an item with reciept but not having the cc/dc used for making the payment.
Does the reciept recognise the cc/dc No then? Is there something in the barcode or last digits showing who's card paid. Could I not have it refunded onto another cc/dc rather than a gift card?
The receipt shows the last 4 digits of your card number, the SA will check this matches the card manually. Shops only refund on the card you used originally, unless it's been stolen/new card (which you can tell as the start date on the card would be recent.)
When I returned something to Boots that I bought with my debit card, I don't think I had to enter my pin. So you could just take the card into store with you, if it's not yours?0 -
Not sure how the system works in Boots but I would think that instead of asking for a refund you could just do an "exchange" for a giftcard to the same value. I've done this in Argos rather than wait the 5-10 working days for a card refund to be made. I don't think you need to have the original debit/credit card to be able to do this, after all if it was a gift that you had been given you wouldn't have the card IYSWIM.I know a few have answered my question re returning an item with reciept but not having the cc/dc used for making the payment.

Don't really use my card to make payments in Boots so not sure how/if it differs from elsewhere.

£10 minimum sadly.
Morning Liverbird and all
I've been meaning to ask this for ages (all of about 12 days lol) but when the question was asked about the phone top ups (can't remember the posters name now and I've only just read it!
lol) did the £10 minimum only apply to 02 top ups? It's just that I'd bought a top up, but for Virgin, to set me off on the voucher merry-go-round
and only paid £5
Or does MrB think we need a lower spend across here 'cos we're all a bit skint?

Card is in Liverpool & the reciept alone took 6 days to get here, post is pants so cardholder can't be without it for that long & postie just dumps his mail on the doorstep not in the letter box so it may even go AWOL. Might have to have him mail it recorded but still a risk.
I recently returned an item to Woolies, paid on my card & they simply asked me to insert card into machine & do my pin. SA didn't handle my card at all.0
