  • I'm still confused with all this! Can someone give me break down guide pls.

I'll be going to boots within the next hour or so!

Can someone explain how the glitches work, what to look out for etc?

What shall I do when I get there today?

    Thanks! x

May have the chance to go to boots today for the first time in months.

Have no vouchers but lots of points from my online spending throughout the year. From skimming quickly, is the latest offer the mirror one? Do you still get the voucher even if spending points? To get the 3 for 2 with the mirror, the other two items need to be cheaper is that right?
i might be wrong but don't think you get a voucher when spending points

342 means you buy 3 and 1 is free on offer, so you only pay for 2, therefore 3 for 2.

If you take a look at page number 1 it has an excellent description of all abbreviations, offers and glitches etc. to help new bootsters.

    Hope this helps :)

    Morning fellow Bootsers
First of all thank you so much for making Christmas shopping such fun this year! Almost done at the start of November! :santa2:

I actually bought the R&M brush at full price last year and its fantastic so don't give them all away I use it every day to put on my bronzer - still as good as new. Worth the extra £2 to get something more useful than mirror.

Does anyone know when the S&G 1/3 off with points offer ends please? - with a few offers changing this week I was hoping to get another one before it finishes.

You are correct carole.uk, you don't get vouchers when spending points. You also can't use vouchers either. :(

With the s&g bits, if you pay using your advantage card you save 1/3 on selected items, if you buy £15 worth of bits (i don't know if it's £15 after points or before) you can get the miniatures free, ] Quote from Amylou87

You have to spend £15.00 before points are taken off so £15 costs you 999 points and you get the GWP. HTH

I know a few have answered my question re returning an item with reciept but not having the cc/dc used for making the payment.
Does the reciept recognise the cc/dc No then? Is there something in the barcode or last digits showing who's card paid. Could I not have it refunded onto another cc/dc rather than a gift card?

Don't really use my card to make payments in Boots so not sure how/if it differs from elsewhere.

    Thanks

Hi the best thing to do is buy something for £5 so you can get a pinky (a £5 off no7 and ruby and millie voucher), you could always buy the umberto gianni spa rituals set of hair exilir (sp) they are priced at £9.99 each but go through as 2 for £6 and lots of people here seem to like them.

Then try the ruby and millie mirror glitch you need to get the mirror priced at £6 and 2 other xmas gift items (I think they have to be £6 or £5 each) but make sure you give the mirror 1st.then the till takes off the cheapest price item and you hand over the voucher you got from the last transaction leaving either £6 or £7 to pay depending on the price of your items.

    Hope this makes sense x
