    Haven't received my vouchers yet, but my bonus points were showing online in my Clubcard account from early January. Like nzseries1 though, I had my account opened and fully funded by the end of November ... although my November had a day less in it! :p

    You're spelling is effecting me so much. Im trying not to be phased by it but your all making me loose my mind on mass!! My head is loosing it's hair. I'm going to take myself off the electoral role like I should of done ages ago and move to the Caribean. I already brought my plane ticket, all be it a refundable 1.
  • THIS IS SERIOUS I have just come off the phone to Tesco Finance because I did not get the clubcard points for opening my online Saver Account. I spoke to a lady (I have her name and told her I would give this info in the forum) and she told me :

    1. Applications made BEFORE 18 Nov would get clubcard points
    2. Applications made BEFORE 8 Jan would get the 12 month 1.5% Bonus but NO clubcard points.
    I queried this and she told me that you don't get both! She also told me that the information on this website is often wrong and that only Tesco have accurate information !!!

    She also told me that I was not by any means the only customer who has queried this
    SO who is right please N.B phone call took 11 minutes

  • Just wanted to say I would strongly recommend AGAINST anyone opening a tescol personal finance account. I opened an account online on 4 Jan 2009 and I am still waiting to get access to it. This is because the online account opening process is a 2 step process:
    1) first you resgister on line with your details
    2) then you have to await a security code in order to get access to your account online

    it has alomst taken tesco personal finance 2 months to complete step 2 above because they appear to have a) a major problem with their post and b) they customer services department in glasgow only seems to have about 2 people who lack basic customer service skills and ability to resolve problems and c) it takes ages to get through to anyone at customers services on average about 15 minutes

    I have now given up completely on tesco personal finance and have tried to get the money i deposited into the savings account. would you believe it? since the beginning of Jan '09 I have had not been able to access the despoit i put into the savings account. the only way to close the tesco personal savings account is by sending in a letter (they cant close your account over the phone like most reputable banks can) and despite having send 3 letters in the last 4 weeks none of the letters have been received by tesco personal finance. and as result they cant close my account and i cant get my money back that i desperately need as I am running out of everyday spending money. it's what i wiuld classify as theft.

    You have been warned!!! I dont want anyone to go through what i have done - it is hell!

  • I've just rang Tescos clubcard expecting my 3000 points in my February statement but they've said there is a delay on promotional points and I won't receive them until May.

    Anyone else who opened the savings account in November got the same problem?

    I've had similar problems with them and will NEVER touch Tesco again for anything remotely financial. They should stick to selling baked beans - they're not bad at that!
