Could she not have just cut them open with a knife like a normal person? You wouldn't even have to do that, you can always see the needle hole where the jam went in.
Well she could have, but she sounds like the kind of people that want everything for nothing, and obviously she would need to make the most of her 13p worth before returning them and getting her refund. somehow I don't think she took a mouthful off and it went into the bin, I would have thought she ate the bits she chewed off for her "demonstration"... after all that way she got 2.5 doughnuts out of a box of 5 that she'll get refunded on anyway -- this is a win win situation for her !

oh and to the comment about Tesco Customer Services - i worked on Customer Services at Tesco for almost a year when i was a student - i was never snooty to anyone
I was merely comparing 2 large Tesco's stores to 1 Asda superstore in my local regionHonorary Northern Bird bestowed by AnselmI'm a Board Guide and volunteer to help get your forum questions answered and keep the forum running smoothly on Special Occasions, Green/Ethical, Motoring/Overseas/UK Travel & Flood boards, it's not part of my role to deal with reportable posts. LMAO I obviously didn't mean across the entire nation as a) I don't like shopping that much so wouldn't want to visit every Asda and every Tesco in the UK, and b) no way could I afford to do a mystery shop of each store, and c) not sure I could be arsed to do a free report on my findings
I was merely comparing 2 large Tesco's stores to 1 Asda superstore in my local regioni worked in a little Tescos. I was lovely to people. even when they were mean to me.
I work in a Contact Centre for HMRC now. Still lovely to people when they are downright absuive to me. :eek:the only debt left now is on credit cards! The evil loan has gone!! :j:j0 -

I've had some really really bad times with HMRC (on another thread) but never have a go at the call centre people as it's not them who decides I should suddenly pay back £4K when all I did was follow their instructions
The only times I've got to the end of my tether are with NPower who wouldn't admit their catastrophic mistake, a debt collection agency instructed by NPower that accused me of rigging my meter and ignored my pleas that I was innocent and that it was NPowers mistake, and an insurance company that sent my car miles and miles away to a storage facility and wouldn't let me have it back  Even then I tried to keep everything lighthearted, even when the debt collection agency were trying to get me to bite at them the weirdos!!!Honorary Northern Bird bestowed by AnselmI'm a Board Guide and volunteer to help get your forum questions answered and keep the forum running smoothly on Special Occasions, Green/Ethical, Motoring/Overseas/UK Travel & Flood boards, it's not part of my role to deal with reportable posts.
