it does shows the lack of interest and concern by our so called elected politicians ,last week I E-mailed Cameron,Darling ,the Treasury, vince cable and my local MP(labour) -at least expecting an acknowledgement .
one week later and only Cameron reply .

quite simply this becoming a fiasco with meetings in iceland etc -go back to october 8th and Mr Darlings statement that all savers with icesave would be refunded -simple get it organised and pay us our saving back -then start discussing with the icelanders

political talk again ! and hopefully we will all be quiet.

I would imagine the emotional, spiritual and mental well being of the vast majority of posters to the Icesave forums have, at least to some little extent, been negatively challenged. I certainly can confirm that mine has been (e.g., loss of sleep; a certain sense of detachment invading to everyday concerns).

I now think I very much know how people in October of 1929 felt.
  • my health is definitely suffering - inability to sleep or concentrate, nausea, dizziness - i think i need to go to my gp

I've written an e mail to Watchdog stressing the problem and how health of individuals etc are now suffering. Can others do this as well please? At least its another place to highlight things.

I'm a nurse and the governemnts BIG thing is information, information (well you get it) and how we must inform about everything - tad ironic?
  • Tired... restless, stressed and sick mostly. I'm sick of looking at the same bloody messages on the FSCS website. Its the not knowing how long this is going to take and the total lack of any information. We have our deposit for a house in there, and yes the bank will cover us the extra amount but its going to make things very hard for us, especially as we have a baby (who is trying to crawl), and absolutely HAVE to move as we're in a tiny one bed flat!

Knowing that other people in the same boat, and getting as fed up as we are kind of helps though, so thanks :)
