Not such a bargain but not far off!
Woolworths in stores have these on Orange PAYG for 29.99 with £10 airtime
When I bought mine on Monday the staff did not know what they were doing - the phones come sealed in box with sim card in and 'preloaded' with the ten pounds it turns out.
All I asked at time I bought was if the time was on phone or voucher in box
They flustered around scanning box and then putting a £10 voucher through and then having crisis as that totalled 39.99 - they then ran around a bit more then did override on till.
I get home to sort phone out ready for my mother opening sealed nokia box to find slip saying something to effect that airtime preloaded on phone
so ended up with new phone and £20 airtime -whoops
it is a great phone - very simple to use and not too many menu items should suit the old gal !Baby Milk Action is a non-profit organisation which aims to save lives and to end the avoidable suffering caused by inappropriate infant feeding.0 -
I am presuming here that the virgin lifestyle rewards offer is no longer on for the 1100. (sorry, to lazy to look for the original link!)
That was a great offer, my Mum bought 4 of those.
Cheers.0 -

You're right, they are not selling the 1100 at the moment. Hopefully they will replace it with the 1101 or 1110. I thought the limit was 2 in a year though!Learn from yesterday, live for today, hope for tomorrow. The important thing is not to stop questioning. Albert Einstein0 -

My daughter is thinking about buying this as her old one is dying but she wants to use her old sim card, I have tried following the links above about unlocking but being a total technophobe I got nowhere! I could not find the model 1100 listed. I would hate for her to purchase this and then be unable to unlock and therefore use it. Please can anyone explain in VERY simple terms how we would go about unlocking one?
Thanks0 -

Hi! I just ordered two and invoice states 1100.;)0 -
still showing in stock and shows no limit on the amount of phones you can order via play.com, unlike the maximum 2 per person via Virgins own siteEx forum ambassador

my phones arrived, can confirm it is an 1100 not the 1110
comes with a Virgin sim card but no mention of a £5 on it in the blurb so think no free credit on it
unlocked it easily on the first try so it's standard settings(I was worried they would change it ! )
