That's a great idea Cheeky. Fortunately I'm a parent governor at our local school and I volunteer there twice a week so they don't mind if I use their laminator free of charge.:rotfl:Lightbulb moment: 14 May 2008Debt free date: April 2014DMP Mutual Support Thread Member No 188Nightowl Member No 160

Hi, I've been doing PartyLite for a almost a year now and I love it. I gave up my full time well paid job in January of this year to concentrate more on PartyLite. I'm just about to promote out this month as Unit Leader.
I can honestly say that its the best job I have ever had. Its flexible, fits around your lifestyle, no stress, no hassle, no set up fee, no contract, no catches and you can earn very good money.
I cover the Notingham and Derbys areas and I would be more than happy to give anyone more information about it. I was very cynical to start off with but there really is nothing to lose just everything to gain.

Has anyone done door dropping with leaflets? Did you get anything out of it?0

Hiya,
I've tried leafletsing through doors and to be honest it didn't work for me in getting bookings, but it did raise my profile in that when I started talking to someone about my job, they immediately said 'oh yes i've heard about partylite. I had a leaflet through my door!'. She did then go on to book a party!0 -

The best thing to do outwith parties is promote yourself as much as you can locally - do try some leaflet dropping but don't go to any expense - put ads in all local shops maybe even letting them know about special promotions at the moment - the best place I have found is local websites - costs nothing (in most cases) and also put my name in local business directories (free ones) - I didn't get anything immediately but have had plenty over time, especially leading up to xmas!I get paid to party!:rotfl:0 -
I wasn't too keen on doing leaflet drops, so I'm quite glad to hear it doesn't really make much difference!
I advertise regularly on Gumtree and I put my name on NetMums. I've got a friend who'll put a couple of posters up at her work for me, and I'm going to try and get a few on my work ones. Can anyone suggest other websites I could look at?0 -

Hiya Liz,
The other things I find that work well are getting onthe phone to play groups charities etc to see if they would like to host a party to raise money for their cause. It often promts someone who not normally have a party to then book. Also just get out there and start talking to people, do some basic leaflets and pluck up the courage to go to a shooping area and pop in to hair salons, cafes and start talking not forgetting to take your fragrance stacker with you so they can have a smell. You get to know people and also they are more likely to book a party as they have had a smell of the product.
Good Luck.
I am currently looking to build up my team and if anyone is interested in joining Partylite do contact me. I can offer regular meetings, training support and backup for anyone in the Nottingham Derbyshire and Leicestershire areas.0 -
