You can also do 2 things - put a consultant order through and you would get 40% discount or put a normal order through paying full price but you can buy the special offers at the offer price and you will also be paid on this or help clear your kit. You can also buy each of the booking gifts - one each - bronze £5.95, silver £10, gold £15 - ideal I think is the new alternative booking gift starting in May which is £10 as you can use in various ways to show people at your shows the booking gifts which will also help get you bookings or you can split the items and use as gifts - as you get pillar candles, reed diffusers and other candles - I did this as I already had the items in my kit.

Question - If I wanted to book another party from my party say in Oct/Nov would I be able to do that with a consultant now or is this too far ahead? Anyone know?

I wouldnt say no to a booking that far ahead, although Im new to Partylite so dont know all the rules though, I would however have thought that it wouldnt count towards the booking needed for the extra comission - sure someone will clarify.

Had a thought that maybe we could all put whereabouts we are in the country so if anyone wants more info they could if they wanted come to the consultant nearest to them, although it doesn't really matter sometimes its nice to have your leader close by

so i will start.....just copy and paste and add your name and location below

Exactly as cheeky has said (taught her well lol) you can book whenever you want as its your diary but ideally you are looking for 30 to 60 days bookings to count towards hostess credit and hostess booking gifts.

I have my first party for a friend next week. I'm not worried about the party or 'selling' the products (I find that easy), but I'm not sure about getting bookings. I do like the idea of offering a free gift when someone books (and holds) a party, but I don't really have any money to buy them. Would I be able to get them on the discount and how would I do it?

I am offering the hostess an extra gift if they get two more bookings at their party that are held within 30 days! They would then get this after the parties had taken place. I havent specified what it will be yet though and probably wont. But it'll probably be something small. I hadnt even thought of offering a gift to the people booking the parties. That is a good idea.
I love the sound of the mugs etc candlegirl mentioned.

Candlegirl - am I being blonde - yes I am blonde to hehe. What are the bronze silver and gold booking gifts you talk about below. How do you normally work these? Sure it would all become clear when I get my packs and kit hehe.

Cheeky - not being blonde I haven't gone over that yet as was waiting on you getting your kit.

PartyLite offer the hostess FREE booking gifts - this helps them work with you to get parties.

2 bookings at their party (once held - 1 30days 2nd 60days) - they can choose a bronze booking gift FREE

3 bookings (as above) they can choose Silver booking gift

4 bookings (as above) - they can choose gold booking gift or 2 bronze gifts.

This is an extra incentive for hostess's and we as consultants can buy one of each kind for the same value as its costs - bronze £5.95 silver £10 gold £15.

So you don't need to offer them a gift for getting 2 bookings as they will already get something - you can if you want but this will save you money!

hehe me being impatient then and getting ahead of myself. Kit has arrived as next door just text me and said she has two parcels at her house for me. Woo hoo

So what I have put in my adverts isnt wrong then, I just dont need to buy them myself. But I can buy them myself for myself if I want them for myself. Thats even better then yippeee!! So how do the gifts you buy yourself work. What are you giving them for?
  • Hi Cheeky

You do need to buy the booking gifts for your hostesses but they are only 5.95, if 2 bookings, 10.00 if 3 bookings and 15 if 4 bookings.

You are allowed to buy one of each yourself and you would want to buy them as they are so cheap! You can use them for your kit/display and then sell them off

    Candlegirl

can i just clarify are we allowed to buy one of every booking gift eg the new 10.00 one has various frangrances can you buy it in every fragrance on offer or is it just one you are allowed?
