I spend less than £1 a day, usually stock up on Monday with fruit and bits to make salad while in the office (invested in a good knife and a chopping board some time ago), and I bring in portions of any leftovers or things to mix with salad!

Need to rethink what I do as it gets colder salad is less appealing so a flask would be really useful for soups :)

In the past I used to spend over £5, 3 or 4 on a sandwich and usually a fancy coffee or 2 - have managed to cut that down to only occasionally for special occasions now :A

I've been off sick for the last two and a half months. Before that I was too ill to make/remember to bring packed lunch, so I was probably spending £3-£6 a day, I'd guess. Am hoping to get back into the swing of things, without resorting to what a friend was doing for 'lunch' and having marmite on toast...

Oh, and when at home, probably 50p-£2, though really I haven't kept track. I generally manage to have some planned leftovers available, but again, haven't really been up to cooking so have had quite a few bowls of muesli for lunch, too.

    I've been Money Tipped!
It depends on who's lunch i am making

But generally between £1-3 a day, weekends being the most.
  • I spend hardly anything on lunch as I have it at home. My partner on the other hand spends a fortune, I would say approx £5 a day!!!!!
  • I spend about £1 to £1.50 at most.
  • Probably a £1 (or less) if I'm packed lunch and about £3.00 if I'm being lazy and buy a sandwich in town. Have a kettle at work, so all coffee is brought in from home. Seem to spend a lot more on DD lunch and she is also pack up??
    Good Luck..
