  • Yum Yum. That sounds like a great idea.
  • I spend between 75p and 1.50 on lunch, but not every day as I try to take a packed lunch when I have time to make it, but sometimes get tempted by a nice sandwich on the way to work!
  • Sounds good.

I reckon about £1 a day on average.

    Cheers.
  • If I eat at work it costs me £3.50 a day or if I take my own, it varies from pasta and pesto sauce.. about £1.80, with a piece of fruit. or a sandwich with mixed salad and cheese, about £1.50 or sandwich with roasted peppers, about £2.00.:T :j
  • I try to take sandwiches and fruits with me. It takes few more minutes in the morning but saves lots of money
  • I make a sandwich and bring some fruit so about £2 a day. sometimes bring a flask with my coffee if I run out of time to drink it before getting the train.

not more than £2 for me, husband and my kids. I always cook.
  • Well I don't go out to work so my lunch comes out of my weekly shopping,

However it's normally only a sandwich so however much two slices of bread & two slices of ham costs

    The bread cost £1 a loaf & there's 20 slices in it on average so that's 10p

& the ham is ASDA's smart price ham & that costs 35p a packet & there's usually ten slices in there so that's about 7p

    So that's a total of 17p

Now does anyone know how to work out the cost of the margerine needed for two slices of bread ;-)
