  • What a fantastic idea, I used to spend anything between 2.50 to a fiver but in the last 6 month or so i started to take my lunch to work so guess its about a pound or so, just using whatever in the fridge/leftover.
I would love to have a pack pretty pleeeeaaaasssseeeee:j
  • I spend between 50p to £1 a day on packed lunches - usually homemade sandwiches, a piece of fruit from a large bag and a packet of crisps from a multipack. That said, if I've got some of last night's tea leftover, that comes with me to work the following day, so it's free! :)
Continually trying the Grocery Challenge. Gotta keep trying!
  • I usually take sandwiches 4 days a week (as I buy a loaf a bread on the weekend but it always seems to be stale by the Friday!) so I will get lunch from Sainsburys or the (overpriced) work canteen once a week.

Averages out at about £2 a day, I'm sure I can improve on that though, must start to be more MSE!
  • I try to make the dinner from the nt b4 enough for lunch the nx day, also making homemade cakes etc also helps to keep costs down aswell as it being a nice little treat, I have also switched from main brands to shops own for many other things such as crisps, mini rolls, bread etc.

So on average lunch costs are approx 85p per day

    Good Luck all x
    :p
  • Hi,

  • I probably spend about £3 on lunch depends what diet I'm on at the time.

    11p economy noodles :o
  • I hate waste, any food not going to be eaten ends up in a stew or soup and frozen for a rainy day.

    Hi

I usually spend between 50p and 80p, but no more than £1 - I have lunch at home. :)
  • Hello every1, this is my first post! I decided to join the forum to be in with a chance of winning the lunch kit. I spend about £4 a day on lunch food which is way too much and I need to cut back to save cash for a big hol next year. This could be just the thing to help me do it :-) Love Martins show on a Wednesday. Bye for now.
