    I've been Money Tipped!
I make up 2 packed lunches daily and try to use left overs but because of daughters food allergies have to buy certain items so I spend about £1.50
Our days are happier when we give people a bit of our heart rather than a piece of our mind.

I spend about £1.50 a day on lunch as I take a packed lunch. When we have salad though, it does push the cost up a bit as the salad veg aren't as cheap as things like jacket potato & cottage cheese! :)
Sad because you don't know what to do? Comping question? Take a look in the Comping Guide to find out
  • if i buy lunch at work it costs me about £5 for a sandwich and some crisps but if i take lunch with me, usually a tin of soup and a couple of slices of bread it only costs me about £1.
  • I seem to make packed lunch for the kids, but then dont bother about me. So end up going to Tesco's, and never get out of there for less than £20 (always a bargin to be had in there??!!)
  • I always take a packed lunch but my kids don't always. I keep telling them your just a poor student. Hopefully the penny will drop soon.
  • I spend about £2 a day and that is making my own lunch and then £2 a day on the hubby's lunch, although by the time he has his chocolate biscuit and fruit am sure it becomes more expensive!!!

Sometimes have cereal and that is really cheap as work provide the milk and the box of cereal was 87p last week as on half price offer so I guess my lunch will have been 10p that day.:p
  • The right amount if its a good day, the wrong amount is its a bad day.

An egg mayo sandwich if I've got all my tasks completed, a triple whopper with extra large fires, vanilla milk shake and donut-to-go if my in-tray's higher than my out-tray.

    Approx £2.
  • Like most others, the cost depends upon which option I choose for the day - oh those decisions!!! Should I take a packed lunch, venture to the staff canteen or risk not being able to park when I get back if I eat in the village. Consequently, the cost could vary between £1.50 and £10.
