I spend around £1 a day. It's better to beg forgiveness than ask permission.0

My OH spends the most out of us for his lunch - about £4 I think (pasta salad bar at morrissons - he's a student at college) Thats 3 days a week he buys that. BUT thats out of his own money, not the household money if you see what I mean.
My eldest daughter (5) goes school dinners (we are on low income so are eligable for the free school meals here in scotland) most days. Some days she doesn't like whats on the menu (once a week usually) and she takes a packed lunch. Nothing expensive in there - sandwich, resuable bottle of juice, few pringles, grapes and sultanas. All of which we had in anyway. Can't be more than about 60p or so for that?
My youngest (age 3) is only in playgroup mornings so its me and her for lunch at home. Usually just leftovers from the night before, beans on toast or toastie pizzas (toasted bread, smidge on tomato sauce and touch of grated cheese) None of these options would cost more that £1 for the 2 of us I don't think. We use smartprice things (beans, chopped toms etc) a lot, homemade bread etc...0 -
I spend very little on lunch, little ds is included in nursery fees, big ds has lots of little pots of stuff in his lunch box, nuts, raisins, hm cake/flapjack. I ususally have a little bit of leftover dinner from the night before and some salad.I'd say less than 1 euro for all of us0

I spend about 50p as I go home for lunch. Usually sandwich with whatever is left in the fridge.0

I like lunch kits.
I do a sandwich, usually PB&J.. and a banana so it's about £1 or less.0 -
Well today I have brought in some Asda Smart Price noodles which cost me 7p! Otherwise I might have a microwave meal for about a pound.0

I'd love a lunch kit.
I try to take my own lunch whenever possible, but my lunch bag is getting a bit yucky now. I reckon on average I spend £1 on lunch when I am working at home and maybe slightly more when I go into an opffice. Max would be £10 for a lunch out. What goes around comes around.....I hope!0 -
I spend very little on lunch. We have tea, coffee, milk AND biscuits provided for us. I usually bring something small in but I occasionally buy something. Yesterday I bought a can of Be good to yourself soup for 39p and a can of peaches for 28p. Last week I spent £3.70 (for the whole week) on salad stuff and a can of pilchards from Aldi, put it in the fridge at work and made salad every day!0

Hi, I'd like to be entered into the free lunch kit draw.

I tend to take my own lunch to work, so less than £1 per day then treat myself to a lunch out every couple of weeks which will be arounf £10.:rotfl:0
