im a stay at home disabled housewife/mother and to be honest i dont do lunch lol i try to have a small breakfast around 11am then nothing till tea which is wrong i know.
hubby takes £2.50 per day and a sandwich/fruit/crisps etc so around £3,25 for him i reckon and my son has a school meal so £1.75 per day.

id love one of these freebies so hubby could take a proper packed lunch which would stay nice and fresh so i could cut down on the cash element of his lunch!!! shame lol

living in hope of being one of the lucky ones!

    cheers!
  • Probably at least £3 on myself and my son, need to cut that down! :o

  • I spend about between 50p and 1.50 on lunch, soup or day befores remainders. My husbands cost about the same, but my children's are around £2.50 whether a packed lunch or hot meal at school (secondary).

    Cheers.
  • Packed lunch every day so about a squid spent. Usually buy Value everything from the supermarket (in our house it's known as stripey food!) then buy my fruit from the local grocer. Of course, what I'd really like is truffles and Bolly, darlink....

Recently converted my OH from buying pre-packed sarnies etc so saving him over a tenner a week! Which, of course, means that he can buy me truffles and Bolly...
