This is just what the martin/doctor ordered YES PLEASE:j
Then I can really cut down on the leftovers or increase them so to speak ,that would be dinners for less than a £ a day thenThe years starts today ....0 -
I usually take a packed lunch and as we buy cheap bread and the best priced other ingredients, I expect it only costs about £1.50. I often buy tins of Tesco own brand fruit in juice and take half of one of those in a tupperware container.:A0

I reckon my cost averages about £1.50 per day, as I make my own packed lunch! Eating in a cafe or pub or even in the staff restaurant is getting too costly to hope to do on a daily basis now! I remember eating a hot meal for 50p per day in the 1980's - and then I had a 15p luncheon voucher to subsidise the cost even further (those were the days - does anyone still get luncheon vouchers...do they still exist?!)0

75p on average, make my own lunch so manage to keep the costs down!0

I take lunch in every day either planned left overs or a ww or lighter choice ready meal - which are about £1 plus some fruit and some veg and a bag of crisps and a can of pop. About £2 max per day.Blah0
