  • today.... about 63p :D

I have made my own lunches for the last five years. Much better quality and choice (never mind cheaper) than any shops....and i know exactly what is in it! No e numbers, no additives, no preservatives and its not prepacked in plastic. And when the allotment is up and running, hopefully I will spend even less cos I won't have to buy fruit, veg and salads.

  • £2.00 approx as I stay home, but husband prob £3.50 or more, must make him more lunch to take!
  • Edited.....
  • Sounds great, i'd love one! I probably spend £1 or so if I take sandwiches, but could easily be £4 if I have to buy something in town.
  • Nothing, I bring my lunch from home!!
  • I used to buy lunches from fast food restaurants near work, however I had to stop doing that since I started working in Mayfair, as it was costing £5-6 a day, and there isn't any cheap options around, so now I mostly take a HM sandwich and an apple to work, which costs me just over a pound.
  • Probably about 80p per day.
I've just started making my hubby take packed lunches - he used to buy 'shop-made' - full of junk & treble the cost. Now we save money and he eats healthier - win win!!
  • OMG! I probably spend about £3.50 a day, if its not a McDobnalds, its a pre-packed sandwich from the local shop.

I just worked it out, thats £910.00 a year!!!!!!!

I think I need to get out of bed earlier and make some sarnies!!!
  • i spend too much - probably £2-3. should really get organised and make my own!
