I'm really not sure how much my lunch costs, I'd guess under £1 cos I work from home in the afternoon and so I eat whatever's in my cupboard!

Prize sounds awesome, would be perfect for hubby's lunch!
  • hardly anything for myself- I buy a pot of cottage cheese, a box of oatcakes and some tomatoes on Mondays. Then every day that week I have four oatcakes with cheese and tomato topping plus home made soup when I remember to bring it......
Less than £1 a day, I reckon and so few calories!
  • I always bring in a packed lunch to avoid succumbing to the tinkling sound of the trolley doing its rounds in the building!
I would say the cost of my husbands home made food ranges from £1.00 to £1.50 and I would love to win the goodies to keep my sarnies fresh and my soup hot.

Too much!!! About £8-10 but if I was lucky enough to receive a free lunch kit, I could slash that cost by making home made lunch and taking it to work, so you see I really need one!!! Please.Cheeky chops!

There is something very wrong in today's society when someone who claims to spend £40-£50 a week on lunch (which is more than I spend on food in TOTAL for a week!!) registers on a forum for something free. It typifies all that's wrong in life to me.

Why not just make sandwiches for a week or two and buy a lunch kit instead?

  • I spend around 80p a day on lunch
  • My husband buys a meal everyday on the motorway service area. It costs approx £7.50 for rubbish food. Its not easy to leave the motorway to get better food with a 38tonne truck behind you. So please please please give me a packed lunch pack. Lynne:rotfl:
  • I spend about £2 on lunch:hello:

I take a packed lunch in to work with a sandwich, mini pepperami(sp?), crisps, an apple and a chocolate bar. As long as you don't buy expensive sandwich fillers you can buy the rest in bulk which saves lots.

    I guess I spend about £1 a day.
