  • OMG - I just can't believe - its all there - back in my account - can't tell you the relief - hope everyone gets their money and then we need to set about getting the interest back and how much have we all spent on 0845 nos.

Let's celebrate first and then start a thread for loss of interest, loss of sanity, loss of sleep, could keep going but I won't.

I'm not going to leave the thread until it starts to dry up and we all seem to have got our money back - I can't believe it - I am sooooooooooooo
    happy

Sorry, in my excitement forgot to say - I did a double withdrawal cos didn't believe the girl on the phone on the Tues night of the 7th and my account was still showing a balance on the 8th - so my withdrawal fell into the double category and I have it - so don't give up hope guys - my last CHAPS was on the 8th at about 8.00 pm - hope that gives some of you some hope.

Part of the Furniture 1,000 Posts Combo Breaker I've been Money Tipped!
Just a brief update, I received all my savings and my husband's savings in the link account on Friday, but today I went to check the account and there is still no trace of either mine or my husband's 3 year bond money.

I rang KE and was told that these are manual payments and would take longer, but the customer service operative was not willing to give me even an approximate date (which I think is better than giving false hopes).

I explained that when I rang previously I was given full assurance that the actual Bonds would be paid into my account by the end of business on Friday and she just "apologised for the incorrect information I was given".

While I understand that I might need to wait for what she termed a "manual payment" a bit longer, I really resent being given wrong information. It seems that every time I call someone else tells me something different. In my opinion this bank (ING) is now so discredited that even if they gave the best interest rate in the whole market I would not want to touch them with a bargepole.

Meanwhile, I am overjoyed for all of you who have recouped your hard earned savings, hope you will celebrate. I am also delighted for the partial recovery of mine (the savings bit) and wait in hope.

Finally I'm an OAP and can travel free (in London at least!).
