Staying on the site 'til EVERYONE has got their money back.

Mine was with Halifax and I only paid £20 once, from my KE account. Please check you transactions at KE, it was probably deducted at their end.

Congratulations to all whose money has now been returned.

To those who are still waiting, I'm sure it will be there soon.

BTW - Let's make sure all of those £20's which (the audacity of it) have been deducted get returned.

Please make sure this is issue is neglected in the euphoria of the returned money, and let everyone know what the process for reclaiming this charge, and the missing interest, is.

KTF - think you are right - this has just been posted on the Fool board - sounds very plausible:

The daily CHAPS run starts around 2pm, hence the 2pm cut-off time for same day payments.
It seems ING are doing all the payments by CHAPS, regardless of how they were requested.
So, if they put all of the payments into the system on Friday, some people will have received them on Friday (those cleared before 2pm), and the rest will get them this afternoon, which appears to be happening now.
Hopefully this means that most of us will receive our money between now and close of business.
It's a shame ING couldn't manage to explain this, rather than just saying that 95% of payments had been "done" on Friday.
Hope this eases peoples worries.

My chaps request of 8th has landed. Now 'safely' in the Nationwide.

I'm lucky that it was not a significant proportion of my savings and I feel sorry for those who have had a stressful couple of weeks. Looks like its all going to be ok now...

Mine also arrived. There is no icon to show the relief I have got on my face. Good to be with all you guys. If there is any grand party organised, I will make sure I come. I will never ever bank with a foreign bank again, thats the pledge I have taken. Now I will buy some land and make a ditch in it and fill it with gold. This is the only way to save my money from these MBA vultures who make millions with our hard earned money.
