  • I'm so relieved for all that have now got there, nearly crying with joy for you all. No joy for me yet and can't help but think that I'll be one of the unlucky ones (not had an email or phonecall yet).

I did 2 CHAPS to RBS and perhaps that's put a spanner in the works for me. Wish ING or KE could just say yes you're one of the unlucky ones - need to wait a few more days....why can't they do that?

...atleast ING is making payments....it looks like they had a major problem...organising the takeover. Administrator probably didnt help. Just post your circumstances here, such as date of transfer, phone or online transfer, account closure request, closure of fixed rate bond etc. All this well help.

...don't let the illegitimate ones grind you down....

Exactly - what is tricky about a simple online transfer?

ING have lost me as a customer. If they can't handle a simple online, automated CHAPS, then I have no confidence in them doing anything else.

    No 5% email fro me.

I emailed ING, BBC and Working Lunch on Saturday.

They were coming though too thick and fast to congratulate you all individually.

I will be here this evening to support people still waiting. It could have been me.

I think we will need anew list this evening. I can’t remember who has and who hasn’t received their transfer.

    Hi folks,

Good to see so many people's money coming through. Don't worry though we know not everyone has got. And we will be keeping on this until ALL the money has been recovered.

Having said that, I want to let the land calm so we can all see where we stand for the rest of today. We don't want to knock ING direct when its just people's recipient account thats slow to show th emoney up.

I may well start a new thread tomorrow and a new poll. Hopefully no one will be interested because everyone (or almost everyone) will have their money by then.

Fingers crossed this thread dies soon for all the right reasons.

  • Still awaiting my money through a CHAPS request made on the evening of 7 October. According to the KE site, my transfer was made on 8 October along with the normal £20 CHAPS fee. However I am happier that everything will be ok having read this forum; thanks all.
