There must be exceptional circumstances why yours is still held up.

The latest ING announcement says that all transfers before 20th should now be paid.

Is anyone else still waiting for transfers from before 20th?

Afraid so bigg, just checked my online account, no money received!

Update from ING Thursday 23 Oct

*Backlog of Withdrawal Payments:
We are pleased to confirm that the backlog of external payments requested on or before Monday 20th October has now been cleared. These payments have been sent out and have started appearing in destination bank accounts*

I am an optimist. I will be looking forward to being reunited with my savings tommorow.

As tmvc says, everyone will probably dwindle away once this fight is over, but some amazing characters have frequented this thread & cheered most people up as well as lifting spirits of others in dispair .......You being one of the main players in that! ;-)

It would be a good gesture just to look back now & then & maybe keep in touch in some way. As I mentioned before, fare (OOPS!) more information is forthcoming in your average social network sites :eek:

If your transfer was before 20th and should have cleared by now, please contact ING, remind them of today’s announcement and find out if they can pinpoint your account and give you an accurate answer. I do believe they nearly have the monster under control.

Hey robborollover, I have exactly the same. Asked to close my fixed term account on the 08 October and CHAPS the money over, obviously it did not happen. On Wednesday of this week the Fixed Term was Closed and transferred to my Savings. On Thursday I had 0 balance in either account and it has not reached my linked account. So hang in with me.

Just called ING to confirm if they could check my transaction ref, usual all payments are made, our head office told us so, and they still can't check. KE is no better. I just like all the others hope it comes through by close of play Friday
