Just checked in and my (smallish) BACS transfer initiated 15 Oct arrived yesterday in my A & L account by CHAPS. Took a week to do so.
Still, it is beginning to look as if transactions SINCE the crisis are getting dealt with, albeit slowly, and not normally. I'm really rooting for those of you with money in the ether since before the crisis. I do hope tomorrow sees your money returned.
When it is all sorted out I plan to clear my KE account, though not sure yet about the fixed terms. I await developments.

There are mixed feelings about reclaiming the Interest and CHAPS fees but I believe it is as much our money as the capital. We have been promised these refunds anyway.

I think we should wait until every last person has their money back before raising hell.

We were left to die by the Vikings, now we’re on a Dutch barge, let’s just make sure we all get back to Ol’ Blighty before we start pointing fingers, stamping feet and looking for punch bags.

Good to see that back up. Coincidentally (or not), my request to close my fixed term accounts made by secure message at 2pm on 7th October was finally actioned today so I now have access to my funds.

Unfortunately missed today's payment deadline by 15 minutes so have setup a CHAPS for tomorrow.

All I have to do now is wait for the money to arrive in my linked account. What could possibly go wrong?...

I have just been able to access Kaupthing's Secure Messages area in my account. They confirm that ING will be refunding ALL CHAPS fees.

"Apologies for this error. ING have advised that these incorrectly charged CHAPS fees will all be refunded as quickly as possible, and that any possible interest loss will also be reimbursed."

Hi ya all,
Just tuned in again after last night, my lips were pursed ready to kiss Martin, Chilledout, the Fun Squad ( u know who you are guys) then I looked at my linked account and sweet F.A !!!
Then looked at my KE account and my stash is still sitting there, how can this be in my account tomorrow, it would have been quicker by donkey !!!
Oh sorry forgot Ing are complete and utter donkeys. Has anyboby got any cash today.

hi all,

I actually tried to put some money INTO my KE account just around the annoucement time (9th Oct I think) and it still has not arrived into my account.

I did also move a small amount OUT of my KE account into my linked account and that completed yesterday (22nd, it was initiated on the 7th).

If anyone is in a similar situation, please do let me know.

At this point in time, I think I will still keep my money with KE/ING.
