i signed up to blockbuster, trouble is i didnt see the part where i slap the code in, only when i logged out i saw where to put it,
I immediately fired out 2 emails to them to ask to change the code so taht i would get a months free and not just 2 weeks.

I have had the service before and has been amazing so quite happy to tell them that they can take next months rental in order to guarentee me a months free trial or i cancel as soon as trial finishes and walk to lovefilm

I have tried Tesco and LoveFilm.
Tesco got slower and slower and as they "don't do" weekends it means if you send a DVD back on a thursday you are unlikely to get anything back till the following Tuesday. also rarely do you get a "new title".
Lovefilm are much better (though titles sometimes seem to be unavailable at present even though they are for sale everywhere and other online DVD rental companies have them!). Also I hate the new priority system introduced last week - it gives you less choice not more! Also the 3 disk rental charges are going up next month by £1 (they blame RM!).

If anyone's interested, FitnessFirst have a promo running with MyMovieStream, which increases their free trial from 4 discs in 2 weeks to 7 discs in 4 weeks.

Either visit http://www.mymoviestream.com/FF or enter the promo code FITNESSFIRST7 when you sign up.

The T&C's on the page point straight back to MyMovieStream's standard T&C's, so guessing you techincally don't need to be a Fitness First member.

    Enjoy.

They go by email address, postcode and credit card details.
I generate a new credit card number ,use a different email address and modify my address slightly each time I open a new account.
    It works.

it does work, i got a cahoot webcard and i am able to use lovefilm over and over again!
    thanks fano.
  • Tried the cahoot webcard - but Lovefilm still found me. Did you cahnge other info?
  • We have had a few trials in the past year with Blockbuster, Sainsburys and ScreenSelect.

My question is, can I sign up again with one of these companies or one of their sister companies for another free trial but using slightly different details (different email address, user id, etc)?

    Muchos gracias
