Well done everyone!
The FTSE rose 100 points when it opened today, a clear sign of how positive thoughts help.Happy chappy0 -
House price falls are a thing of the past....our local builder raised the price of a new build three bed semi from 190k to 199k last week. Nobody bought it at 190k but he obviously knows best. A xDon't believe everything you think.

Stansted has the go-ahead for a second runway. To great relief of the many thriving airlines vying to transport countless happy holidaymakers to their time-share investments in the sun.0

This thread is obviously dedicated to the economy doom lovers club, championing the deterioration of pretty much everything. They meet twice weekly at an undisclosed venue for tea and biscuits and to have a jolly good giggle and raise a glass to the country going down the p!sser. How completely boring your lives will become when its all over and things are actually o.k.
For years while the economy has boomed your lives have been dull and fruitless, nothing to smile about, and at last its all finally gone tits up so you can do a merry dance. I'm happy for your time in the sun
. I don't understand you but it's nice that you're happy now. 0 -

A new build four bed house ( part of someone's garden with lovely view of a backstreet and bins) with no garage and about six inch garden went for sale months ago at £400,000 - then went to another agent at £350,000 - yesterday it was on Rightmove at £400,000 again.
Obviously things are looking up!!!! Does happy dance :j wonder if DH will let me rush out and spend before prices go up?
Got letter from our estate agent today blaming the media and intent on talking up the market- to which end he has contacted "Location ,location, location!"
I would be a lot more enthused by this if the letter had not arrived just after the BOE had admitted we were in a recession!"This site is addictive!"

The economy has sound fundamentals and government borrowing is the lowest it's ever been, due to a series of efficiency improvements and concentrating on key services rather than social engineering. Things have never looked better.
Get buying things now before prices rise.Happy chappy0
