yes that is the one. I haven't got any pics of me in it. But i'm sure i will try it on again soon and then I will take some. Gonna order all my bridesmaids dresses from there as well and they are gonna do the cravatts so that they are excatly the same colour/material as the bridesmaids dresses.0

Hi All,
I have been umming and arring over whether to risk ordering my dress online. I was going to use Milly bridal but then found Landy who are much cheaper, and have more choice.
The dress I want is a maggie Sottero, and as she is so well known for her corsetry and quality I was really worried that the dress I ordered from landy would not live up to the original.
However, I have seen one or two pics (spent hours searching the net!) of dresses people have recieved and they all seem to be good!
Some reviews state that the workmanship is just as high quality as designer dresses.
Personally I think that Bridal Stores just have a massive mark up and probably buy dresses at a low cost from China.
Good Luck all0 -

Does anyone know how much landy charges to post a bridesmaid dress to england? You have to give all your details on the website to get to postage information and I don't like doing that until I have decided but I cannot decide without the postage!0

WOW is all i can say i have just received my wedding dress from landy and its amazing i am still speechless, i by no means am on a budget however i dont like been ripped off my dress is perfect it fits like a glove and the quality is unbelievable i would recommend this site to anyone my dress is fit for a queenI'm thinking about ordering my bridesmaid dresses from Landy but am very nervous about them not being right!
I would be interested to find out from people who have ordered from there before about taking measurements...
How has everyone found the measuring process? Have you measured yourself or gone to a tailor as recommended? And when your dresses arrived did they fit ok or did you have to have alterations?
Also,, when you took measurements, do you do them so they are exact or do you need to leave a little bit of give (e.g. when you measure a men's neck size you put a couple of fingers under the tape so they can breathe - do you need to do something similar?!)
Thanks in advance!0 -
